Communication Unit 560CMD11
Communication Unit 560CMD11 The SLC works as master for the RTU560 serial
peripheral bus (I/O-Interface/‘Wired-OR-Bus’).
The MPU is responsible for the other tasks. The
MPU handles the absolute time and date for the
RTU. The time can be set and synchronized from
the central system via the serial lines or via the
Ethernet LAN interface (SNTP).
Application
The 560CMD11 is the Communication Unit (CMU)
of the DIN rail RTU540. The 560CMD11 consists
of a metal DIN rail Housing, which includes a CPU
and a Power Supply (PSU).
The essential tasks of the 560CMD11 are:
Managing and controlling of the RTU211
I/O modules via the 10 pole Wired-OR-
Bus (WRB).
Reading Process events from the input
boards.
Writing commands to the output boards.
