(AC-S18) Week 18 - Final Assignment - EnGLISH IV-1
Hello!
Now it's time for you to do part 2 of the course Final Assignment (Oral Product).
I invite you to check the instructions below. Remember that if you need to review a topic, you can always
go back as many times as you need. Keep in mind that you have to present this assignment on Tuesday of
week 18.
1.Learning Outcome:
Al finalizar el curso, el estudiante produce información en el idioma inglés expresando comentarios,
solicitudes y descripciones de uso frecuente a un nivel A2+ del Marco Común Europeo de Referencia de las
Lenguas (MCER).
2. General indication
Imagine you are applying for a job or a scholarship abroad (Choose one). One of the requirements is to
have an interview to introduce yourself.
In the interview you have to include information about the following topics:
1. Studies
2. Outstanding personal experiences
3. Future goals
4. Lifestyle and Health
Step 1:
o Work in pairs or groups of three.
o Choose these roles: 1 student is the interviewer, and the other ones are the interviewees.
o Think about the following topics together and make a list with your ideas:
1. Studies
2. Outstanding personal experiences
3. Future goals
4. Your healthy lifestyle.
Step 2:
o Create a dialog using the best ideas from step 1.
For example:
A: What are you going to do after you graduate?
B: I’m going to work freelance and start an online advisory site.
Step 3:
o When your dialog is ready, record a video:
Each student must participate at least 6 times.
The interviewer must ask at least 6 questions.
At the end of the dialog, the interviewer must ask “Do you have any questions for me?”
Each interviewee must ask at least 2 questions for the interviewer.
Remember that it’s important to show your face during the dialog.
Your video must last between 3 - 5 minutes.
Considerations
Take into account the following structure:
Cover: Your names and last names must be there, include each participant’s photo. There are 2 options
to do it: (Choose one)
o Option 1: Inside your mp4 video, if you record it in Canvas.
o Option 2: In a Word format with the YouTube link.
Greeting: Before the dialog, each student should appear saying his/ her name and last names. (It’s very
important to show your faces)
Dialogue:
o Introduction: The interviewer greets the interviewees and vice versa.
o Body of the dialog: Talk about the 4 topics.
o Closing: The interviewer says goodbye to the interviewees.
