Live Project Guidelines

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The course is designed:


(i) To get flavor of functional area (s) while doing live work in industry
(ii) To enhance practical knowledge along-with theoretical knowledge.
(iii) To apply functional knowledge in organization after getting placed.
(iv)To enhance organizational effectiveness by applying unique practices which have been
learnt by students while doing live projects in different functional areas of business

EXAMINATION SCHEME

Live Project (LP) will carry a maximum of 100 marks - out of which, 20 marks will be for
the presentations. 20 marks will be given by the faculty mentor on the Report (contents)
submitted. 60 marks will be for the external viva voce exam. A panel of internal and external
examiners will jointly award marks during viva voce exam. It is mandatory for the students to
comply with all the above mentioned components for successful completion of the Live
Project assessment.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES FOR LP

LO1: Students will be able to define a problem in the organization.


LO2: Students will collect the real time data and ways to overcome it. They will also be able
to analyze data to get the solution of the problem.
LO3: Students will be able to make suggestions regarding industrial problems on the basis of
concepts learn in the program.
LO4: Students will learn to implement management concepts.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Students who have opted for the Live Project must follow the guidelines for submission. The
report must be prepared under the guidance of the assigned faculty mentor. The report must
be approved and signed by the concerned mentor. One Hardbound Copy shall be submitted
by the students after signing by a faculty mentor.

The students after submission of Live Project Report will have to appear for external
Viva- Voce compulsorily. The submission and presentation of report both are mandatory
for the students. If the student failures to submit on time or absent in the presentation of
the report will be marked ABSENT and students get ATKT in Live Project. The Live
Project Report will be made in Times New Roman (Font) Headings in Font Size 14 and
text/ content in Font Size in 12.

Students are advised to follow the suggested format for Live Project Report preparation.
However, students can also prepare the report in their format fulfilling/covering the below
mentioned topics for submission.

3. Declaration by the Student (Sample Format Attached)
4. Certificate of Faculty Mentor(Sample Format Attached)
5. Certificate of Organisation/ Company (Sample Format Attached)
