Define Following

1) What do u understand by telemedicine?

“Tele” is a Greek word meaning “distance “and “mederi” is a Latin word meaning “to heal”

The delivery of healthcare services, where distance is a critical factor, by all healthcare professionals

using information and communication technologies for the exchange of valid information for diagnosis,

treatment and prevention of disease and injuries, research and evaluation and for the continuing

education of healthcare providers, all in the interests of advancing the health of individuals and their

communities

2) What do u understand by Cashless Society?

Cashless society is an economic concept where financial transactions are

executed in an electronic format rather using banknote.

3) Describe Term Cyberspace?

Cyberspace refers to the virtual computer world, and more specifically, an

electronic medium that is used to facilitate online communication.

Cyberspace typically involves a large computer network made up of many


worldwide computer subnetworks that employ TCP/IP protocol to aid in

communication and data exchange activities.

4) What do u understand by term Micro controllers?

an integrated circuit  that contains a microprocessor along with

memory and associated circuits and that controls some or all of the

functions of an electronic device (such as a home appliance) or

system

 examples of 8-bit microcontrollers are Intel 8031/8051, PIC1x, and Motorola

MC68HC11 families.

5) What is Professionalism?

Professionalism’ is commonly understood as an individual’s

adherence to a set of standards, code of conduct or

collection of qualities that characterize accepted practice

within a particular area of activity

6) What do u understand by giving back to society as IT professional quality ?

7) List down at least 3 IEEE code of Ethics ?

8) As a software Engineer what do u understand by Judgement as with respect to Ethics?

JUDGMENT – Software engineers shall maintain integrity and independence in

their professional judgment. 5. MANAGEMENT – Software engineering managers


and leaders shall subscribe to and promote an ethical approach to the management

of software development and maintenance.

9) List down at least 3 General moral imperatives: “As an ACM member?

 GENERAL ETHICAL PRINCIPLES.


 Contribute to society and to human well-being, acknowledging
that all people are stakeholders in computing.
This principle, which concerns the quality of life of all people, affirms an obligation of
computing professionals, both individually and collectively, to use their skills for the
benefit of society, its members, and the environment surrounding them

 Avoid harm
 harm include unjustified physical or mental injury, unjustified destruction or disclosure
of information, and unjustified damage to property, reputation, and the environment.
This list is not exhaustive.

 Be honest and trustworthy.


A computing professional should be transparent and provide full disclosure of all
pertinent system capabilities, limitations, and potential problems to the appropriate
parties. Making deliberately false or misleading claims, fabricating or falsifying data,
offering or accepting bribes, and other dishonest conduct are violations of the Code.

 Be fair and take action not to discriminate.


Computing professionals should foster fair participation of all people, including those of
underrepresented groups. Prejudicial discrimination on the basis of age, color,
disability, ethnicity, family status, gender identity, labor union membership, military
status, nationality, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, or any other
inappropriate factor is an explicit violation of the Code.
