PATIENT - Must be tested for covid upon arrival at the hospital.
PREGNANT There are mainly 2 entrances due to the new normal (covid CASUALTY WARD
PERSON situation) OBSERVATION
If the patient is cleared of covid they can take the normal entrance WARD
for the emergency ward. LABOR WARD
PRIVATE WARD
They will be seated in a wheelchair, and confirm the TRIAGE
with the nurse (the enroute the patient has to take, the complete
plan of where the patient has to go next).

BABY Right after the birth, the baby is taken to the warmer, then to the LABOR WARD
pediatrics consultant, then to wipe station and then in rare cases WARMER
where the baby is struggling to breathe, they take the baby to WIPE STATION
incubator. After all these the baby is taken immediately to the mother's (INCUBATOR)
hand and is kept near the mother (the private ward). This is called as PRIVATE WARD
ROOMING IN.
ATTENDANT / NURSE Records information about the OBSERVATION WARD

GYNECOLOGIST How will they enter? OBSERVATION WARD
through the separate entrance which is for the LABOR WARD
staffs and doctors to enter the labor ward or the EMERGENCY WARD
emergency ward. Whereas the patient enters
through the main entrance for the ward.

They will work with nurses, pediatrician, female


worker, cleaner, female attender, in case of
surgery anesthetics doctor.
