EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The proposed project entitled, TWISTERS, is a private partnership based company and is

going to start its early stages of the development phase. Twisters will enter in food industry

specifically in products with twists that will focus on the local market. Since the products that

will be offered is new, marketing will be the key for development of the brand and product

awareness as well as the growth of the customer base. Twisters will offer array of products with

twists to satisfy customer’s needs and wants.

Twisters will be providing mango graham, fries, fruit salad, fish balls and Yakult C, all

served with a twist with the focus on providing tasty, nutritious and hygienic food to the

community. It is expected that the majority of revenue in the first year will be derived from in-

store retail purchases to retain the investment. However, once the shop has established a good

reputation within the community, it will generate some amount of revenue from the subsequent

year with the substantial growth of reputation due to the taste and variety of products offered.

In today’s highly competitive environment, it is becoming increasingly difficult to

differentiate one food stand from another. Our main priority is to establish one food stand in the

school, preferably in the school canteen of Claveria School of Arts and Trades. Later, our efforts

will be a further development of more retail food stand in the surrounding area.

A thorough analysis through survey has shown that multiple food products will be our

biggest strength and will attract more customers. Twister will be having strengths in terms of

utilizing social-cultural desires and trends, meeting needs of under-served specialty consumer

markets and taking advantage of CSAT’ growing population and demand. Weakness for
Twisters arises in overcoming consumer stereotypes about healthy food, not tasting new goods

and in business expenses with the challenge of making business expansion all over Claveria.

This plan is prepared to obtain a location for the initial launch of this concept. Our outlet

also provides excellent and friendly customer service to support the ambience of fun, energetic

and youthful lifestyle. Twisters will entice youngsters to bring their classmates and friends with

our innovative environment and our sensational products with a twist.

Overall our vision is to create a unique food stand in our school, in the section of the food

industry to fulfill the student’s demand for something new food products with the difference in

taste and quality.

The mission of TWISTERS is: “To provide the community with healthy and environment

friendly goods with unique flavour and taste in different varieties”. Twisters will strive to be

premier local food stand in the school premises. We want our customers to have a total

experience when visiting our stall as they will learn about this fascinating new “pop culture”.

The vision of Twisters is to build and maintain a customer-oriented culture that will

encourage and nurture service excellence through cleanliness, quality and value to meet the

expectations of our customers. Moreover dedicate ourselves in providing the highest quality food

and service to students as well as the faculty and staff of the school. Promoting a nutritious and

healthier lifestyle that exceeds our customers’ expectations; building a friendly environment

where students would love to eat. Our main focus will be serving high-quality food at a great

value.

To succeed in this business we must:

 Create unique, innovative entertaining menu that will differentiate us from the rest of the

competition.

 Control costs at all times, in all areas and implement a conservative approach to growth

policy. Although, we provide more than enough fund to open more than one stand, we

want to be on the safe side of the business.

 Sell the products that are of the highest quality, as well as keeping the customers happy

with all of our product categories from food to our services.

services among other competitors.

majority of our core target market, our target costumer are students and staff of this school. Our

costumer will also be able to read our in-house brochures in regards to all knowledge. Our store

will be decorated with fast food setting, such as a bright counter and display menu on the wall.

company, with ownership, 25% - Agcaoili, 19% - Arellano, 19% - Agbucar, 19 – Alupay, 18% -

Adena.

All of these qualities are consistent with twisters’ goal of providing a top quality fast food

experience, we want ‘word of mouth’ to be our best form of marketing, where our costumers

The proposed business shall advertise one major product and four minor products. The

major product of the business is the Mango Graham with a Twist that is commonly the need of

the people at any time at any moment. The four minor products are Fries, Fish balls, Fruit

Salad and Yakult C; all served with a twist.
