Application Guide
LHD OPERATION
As the area around the rim seal overheats beyond the alarm temperature of the LHD sensor used, it
generates an alarm condition at the Fire Alarm Control Panel. The Fire Alarm Control Panel then activates
the appropriate Suppression System, typically a rim seal foam system and/or a cooling water spray on the
tank shell exterior.
