SCOPE
Responsible to manage and oversee the planning, design/engineering,
coordination and implementation, control and monitor the MEP Designing proposal
such as Electrical, ELV, Panel boards, MCC, street lighting, Underpass Lighting,
Pedestrian bridges (RGB Lighting), Over&under bridge lighting, sign boards,
Package substations, Pump stations, Irrigation control, R.O Plant, and Fire Alarm
Systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


➢ Ensure management of the MEP design process in accordance with
company policy, procedures, and the Design Management Plan.

➢ Develop the MEP Project design brief (concept) and maintain by regular
review.

➢ Manage the MEP design including all inputs, coordination, and deliverables
to achieve the time, cost, and quality objectives.

➢ Arrange full construction (MEP Installation & planning) support during the
design phase to maximize constructability.

➢ Set-up & monitor a MEP design quality plan, linking Designer’s quality
plans with a regular review and audit function.

➢ Ensure that the design intent and design performance criteria are
maintained through the design development and construction process.

➢ Report immediately any event which will significantly change previous


forecasts and/or senior management expectations of the next forecasts.

➢ Lead problem solving and resolution of design issues.

➢ Identify issues causing risk or delay to the project.

➢ Take overall responsibility for the performance and coordination of all


MEP trades. This includes but is not limited to the following scope of work:
Mechanical, Existing utilities, Ductwork, Electrical, Fire Alarm, Site Utilities.

➢ Implement and manage the MEP coordination process to resolve all


conflicts prior to start of installations.
➢ Other tasks assigned by manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
➢ Design Electrical Shop drawings for street lighting, package substations,
panel board Pump stations, RO plant, underpass lighting, under bridges
lighting and fly over.
➢ Review all the calculations for the electrical systems (voltage drop, cables
selection)
➢ Review the contract drawings against shop drawings.
➢ Preparing the AS-BUILT drawings and following up the SNAGGING LIST
for the project final handing over.

➢ Coordinating with the consultants for all the electrical works and factory
inspections. (Electrical Substations, low voltage panels, ETC)
➢ Preparing Method statements for electrical installations.
➢ Supervise the suppliers and check the quality through factory visits (FAT).
➢ Preparing all the documents which required for the final handing over of
The project like Operation & maintenance manuals.
➢ Design for a pumping station (already executed HBH intersection with KAR
and Al Shaikh Jaber al Subbiah pump Station and Anas Bn Malik
underpass intersection with Abi Bakr as Siddique Road).
➢ Irrigation network and Irrigation control design.
