Aradial AAA Error Messages

Error Message Description


User Not Found User does not exist in the Aradial database.
User configuration problem There is a problem with the user service configuration. Usually
due to missing mandatory dynamic attributes defined in its
service. The missing attribute is written in the ServerWarn.log.
Database Failure The connection to the SQL database is down.
User is locked out User is in lockout mode due to successive failed authentication
attempts due to a wrong password.
You are denied access at this time of User has a time of day policy and is denied access at the current
day date / time.
You are not registered to use the User is registered to a different service type from the current
service access request.
Your user is not active User is not in the active state.
Your call was blocked User is rejected due to black or white list restriction.
Your user has expired User has passed its expiration date.
Your password has expired User’s password is expired.
Your user has not started yet The start date of the user is in the future.
Your group reached maximal The number of concurrent sessions of the user’s group have
concurrent sessions reached their allowed maximum, according to the group
definition.
You reached maximal concurrent The user has reached the maximal number of sessions.

No Callback number defined The user’s group is set with ‘Enabled Callback’ and no callback
number is defined for the user.
Couldn't allocate IP The IP Pools associated with the user are depleted and thus no IP
could be allocated to the user.
No Login Host defined for The user’s service includes a $LoginHost parameter, but no
user/group remote IP is defined for the user or group.
Problem in User configuration The user’s service is not defined in NasCfgDbs – not for the
current NAS model and not for the default model.
Your group is inactive The user’s group is marked as inactive.
Your group has expired The user’s group is expired.
Missing Caller ID The user’s group has a caller Id template and there is no caller Id
in the access request.
Unauthorized Caller ID The caller Id in the access request does not match the caller Id
defined for the user.
Server evaluation expired The AAA server is working with an evaluation license, which has
expired.
PAP authentication failure A general failure when PAP authentication is used. Usually it
implies an internal error.
Digest authentication failure A general failure when digest authentication is used. Usually it
implies an internal error.
CHAP authentication failure A general failure when CHAP authentication is used. Usually it
implies an internal error.
EAP authentication failure A failure occurred during EAP authentication. Usually it is a
wrong password.
MSChap authentication failure A general failure when MSChap authentication is used. Usually it
implies an internal error.
Problem in Period Set configuration Error during period based rating. Occurs when the period set
definition is incomplete and does not cover the current
date/time.
Money balance depleted The money balance has been depleted for a prepaid user or a
postpaid user with a credit limit.
Duration balance depleted The time bank has been depleted for a prepaid user.
Volume balance depleted The KB bank has been depleted for a prepaid user.
Incorrect prepaid card name or PIN A user tried to activate a prepaid card with incorrect card name
or password.
LDAP Is Down An LDAP server is used for storing user profiles and the AAA
server cannot connect to the LDAP server. Usually, the LDAP
server is down.
LDAP Search Failure An LDAP server is used for storing user profiles and a search
failure occurred when searching for the user’s profile.
LDAP Failure An LDAP server is used for storing user profiles and a general
LDAP failure occurred when searching for the user’s profile.
Voucher Name is missing Voucher name attribute is missing when doing voucher top up.
This is usually an internal implementation error.
Maximal number of users exceeded The system exceeded the number of users allowed according to
the license.
Unidentified NAS Client A request was received from a NAS which is not defined in the
NAS list.
System reached maximal concurrent The system exceeded the number of sessions allowed according
sessions to the license.
Balance not found A user’s balance was not found during rating. This is an internal
error and should not occur under normal circumstances.
Problem in Destination Rate Table The user is configured with destination rate price plan and the
configuration current destination is not defined in the destination rate table.
Failure creating rate calculator An internal error that occurs during rating.
Chargeable attribute not found An error that occurs during rating where the chargeable
attribute is not found in the request. The chargeable attribute is
usually Acct-Session-Time or Acct-Input-Octets / Acct-Output-
Octets.
Chargeable attribute incorrect type An internal error that occurs during rating.
Reverse Rate Error An internal error that occurs during rating.
Failure getting balance An internal error that occurs during rating.
New offer needs to be applied to the A user was scheduled to change offer, but its offer was not
user changed yet.
Invalid price plan The user’s price plan does not exist. Usually happens when a
new price plan is added but the “Apply Changes” operation is not
performed.
Invalid cycle code The user’s cycle code does not exist. Usually happens when a
new cycle code is added, but the AAA server did not load it yet.
Step counter not found Similar to “Balance not found” error.
Step rate plan is not defined There is a configuration problem in the stepped rating price plan
correctly – the current accumulation value is not covered by the step
definition.
Invalid period Id A problem in period set configuration. The period ID is not one of
the valid values.
