The main problem that HDC is facing involves a lack of technique set up and improper
control of the board. The central management lack a strategy of organizing the way activities and
projects in the company are supposed to be coordinated. It is seen that projects in the company
are done parallel to each other (Larson & Gray, 2020). Not all projects are equal since they are
those that are major to the company’s vision while others are minor.
Project managers do not agree to share resources. This is a major cause of projects not
being delivered in time. Resources are being wasted due to improper control and monitoring of

The major cause of the problem is a poor management strategy by top managers of the
company. The company lacks policies and procedures that ensure the proper running of projects.
Each project manager has full control of his project. This is the reason why they prioritize their
projects more than others are. Since there are no project guidelines, project managers do not
meet deadlines for their projects and even go beyond the budget.
Top managers in the company are not providing any support to project managers in the
company. They give project managers full control and that is the main reason why projects are
not been done accordingly. Besides, these essential employees in the company are not being
groomed well. Projects are supposed to be categorized depending on their complexity, duration
and how they are important to the organization. Since HDC has not categorized its projects, the
