e-Nomination

Objective:

The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has introduced e-Nomination Process for all UAN account holders
and enhancing the digitization framework with the goal of PF pay out (PF) and pension (EPS) claims in a timely manner
post-retirement to subscribers or to their nominees(e-Nomination should be done before Death)

Pre-requisites:

 The member should have activated his Universal Account Number (UAN)
 The registered mobile number linked to Aadhaar. Basic details (Name, DOB (in DDMMYYYY), Gender, and Father
Name) should be matched with Aadhaar card and UAN portal.
 Father name or Husband Name as per UAN portal Vs. Aadhaar card of Father Name should be matched. If this is
not matching kindly correct the data before E nomination.
 Nominee’s Aadhaar card should be linked with mobile number, and Nominee’s DOB should be in DDMMYYYY
format.
 Mandatory KYC (Aadhaar, PAN and Bank) should be updated and verified in the EPFO portal.
 Passport-sized photo of Employee & Nominees.

e-Nomination will work on Desktop version of Mozilla Firefox 58.0+ browser or Google
Chrome Version 96 or above

Login to :- https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/

 Enter UAN, Password followed by Captcha Code and click on Sign in

1. Photo and mail ID
-To do this goto ----View Option---Choose Profile Option

2. Click on "Change Photo" and upload the photo as per the instructions below
3. Click on "Browse" to select the photo

4. Click "Preview" the image


5. And "Upload Photograph" to complete the uploading
6. Update Address as per Aadhaar card under View Option---Choose Profile Option

If your present and current address is same as per Aadhaar, click on “Current address is same as the
permanent address.

7. After Sept-1 go to Manage Option and Choose E-Nomination

8. Kindly Choose whether Nominee is Family member or Not


9. After Choosing the Nominee Type, fill the details as per nominee e-Aadhaar card(Make sure DOB is in
DDMMYYYY format)
10. Post updating details as per Aadhaar card, upload photo of the nominee.

11. Nominee / Family details should match with Aadhaar database. You can Add Row for more than 1 nominee.

12. After adding 1 or more nominees click on Save Family Details


13. Select the nominee and share Percentage of EPF as per your requirement (100% for single nominee and split
share for more than 1 nominee Ex. 30% Mother, 30 % to Father, 40 % to wife,etc.)

14. Fill all the details and save EPF Nomination and Nomination is Added, now it is pending pending for Verification /
e-Sign
15. click on e-Sign and Proceed for e-Sign Registration (e-Sign should be done to all the list of nominees you have
added for EPF share)

16. Enter your 16 Digit Virtual ID to proceed further or Enter Aadhaar number to get Virtual ID

17. To generate Virtual ID kindly enter your Aadhaar Number

18. Virtual ID (16 Digit) Number will be received on registered mobile number of your Aadhaar.
19. Kindly enter Virtual ID Number and request for OTP

20. Enter OTP and Submit for eSign.

21. Your e-Nomination is filed.

22. Any changes in E-Nomination should file for new e-Nomination by following same process.
