 The wall of the classroom are decorated with the pictures of Philippine

2. Examine how the pieces of furniture are arranged. Where is the teacher’s table
located? How are the tables and chairs/ desk arranged?

 The teacher’s table and chair are at the front of the class while the student
seat is divided into four rows, which in one row contain 12 seats. Not
crowded because the size of classroom can accommodate almost 50
students.

3. What are the learning materials/ equipment are present?

 Before Covid-19, teachers usually use projectors, laptop and speaker in


class as learning materials while students go to library to barrow books for
the references of their lesson but now they use the module and distribute it
to the students.

4. Observe the students. How many are occupying one room?

 Due to pandemic much has changed in the matter of education, we have


new learning approach where all students will remain in their home but

continuous access in education. In my estimation 45 to 50 would be fit in


one room.

5. Is the room well- lit and well- ventilated?

 Yes, all classrooms are will-lit and well-ventilated that gives satisfaction for
the learners. The light is not drowsy and can inhale fresh air because

Date of Visit: October 14, 2021

Each classroom have almost the same wall design which aims to give
information for all students and to be guided by this as well. The classroom environment
is good, well-lit and well-ventilated even curtain is anchored with other design. The
chairs and tables are balanced according to the volume of each rows. There is a mini
library in each classroom where students can use their free time by reading books.
Cleaning materials are well organized because having own cabinet. The needed facilities
and other DepEd order that school must have can see in this campus and all functional
and always ready for improvement.

ANALYZE

How do the school campus and classroom in particular impact the learning of
the students going to school? What are your conclusions?

As one of the observer, I conclude that learning environments play a vital role in
student success. The school must prepare healthy nor safe environment for the learners and
provide information that everyone will benefit and help for their development as
individual. Students who study in an active learning environment have been shown to be
more motivated and have a higher overall learning capabilities. Another one is the behavior
or attitude of the teacher in institution because I strongly believe that as a teacher your task
is not only educating your students but also knowing them in their two side to gain much
love and much respect from them because if you have those love it easy for you to
encourage them to do more, to do better.

How does this relate to your knowledge of child and adolescent development/
how does this relate to your knowledge of facilitating learning?

In stage of child and adolescent, the trust and good relationship must be built in an
early age because that relationship will help the child to explore something because he/she
knew someone would guide him/her. In school, it is easy for the students to voice out his
answers or questions regarding the topic if he is comfortable with his environment.

REFLECT

1. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why?
Why not?

 Of course, aside from the fact that this school is my second home when I
was in secondary high school it also helped me to be a better person. I’m
still amazed because of its fast growth and development. From head of
school to staff, they are all possessed the qualities of a good educator and I
really want to worked with them. In my almost 2 hours of observing I
found out how this school follow all DepEd Order. Very safe and the
learning environment is good.

2. What kind of school campus in conducive to learning?

 I always heard that word in my Prof. Ed. subject and in my own


understanding when we say “conducive to learning” the students are
comfortable with their environment which serve as bridge to learn and
grow. The willingness to accept every students who have their own belief
and perspective in life.

3. What kind of classroom is conducive to learning?

 A classroom who’s willing to accept differences. The lightings is good and


well ventilated even the small area of classroom is well organize. The

learners focus on their goal to learn not to compete with their peer. Have
social interaction with each other that open for new ideas and information.

4. In the future, how can you accomplish your answer in number 3?

 As a future teacher, I can provide a classroom which conducive to learning


by following the Vision, Mission and Core Values of school. Letting my
students to express their opinion and by the help of the head of institution
and my co-teacher we can provide a conducive environment for learning.

 For my additional learning, the role of school is not only provides a


structured education to the child but also promotes mental and
psychological growth even varied opportunities which enable them to
discover their innate talents and develop them. Having healthy learning
environment result positive outcomes both students and teachers.

As you enter the school, on right side of the building there are three bulletin
board on the wall. The first bulletin board contains school directory (Bayuin
National High School Directory), Emergency Hotline for the second while the third
bulletin contains Evacuation Route Plan (Earthquake and Fire). There are also
three bulletin board at covered pathway contains accomplishment of Supreme
Student Government, Nutritional Status of school staff and reminder of the threat
of Covid-19, plans of School Disaster Risk Reduction Management and
Transparency Board (Enrollment, NAT Result, Programs and Project, Inventory,
Activities, DepEd Order, Budget and Expenditure, DepEd Memo and Canteen).
Each classroom also have their own bulletin which contains Students’ Profile,
Disaster Risk Reduction Management Board, Senior High School Curricular,
Health Corner, Class Program, Physical Inventory, Financial Report and List of
Students.

Each information posted on each bulletin board has a sequence and


supported by DepEd Order. It is easy for students, staff and parents to get the need
data. It also made of glass, and very organized, not crowded and the design is not
exxagerated because of the right choice of color and its whole appearance. The
message is clear and those display placed on the wall takes time to make perfect
and correct.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE BULLETIN BOARD:

The general bulletin board was placed on the wall of new building and at covered
pathway. Well-constructed, items are securely attached. Letters and illustrations can be
seen from a good distance. Have unity in design, colors and sizes. Conveys the message
quickly and clearly. Contain important announcement and accomplishment of each
organization and serve as transparency of each students.

EVALUATION

It was perfectly made because of the whole appearance of output (bulletin


board). The school also consider the security of the documents incase of bad
weather. It was big and contains important information that every students, parents
and stakeholders should know.

In classroom it is important to make or to have board display because it can catch


the viewer’s attention, it serve also as a source of information. It provides an opportunity
to learn from each other and also to appreciate the work of others, nurtueing empathy,
respect and a strong sense of classroom community. It is effective because through this
student will enjoy on what they are doing. It also help to have social interaction of one
individual to others.

Yes, board display can reflect the interest of the target audience because they can
relate on what they see. They will be motivated to become creative.

Yes, in every situation you have to consider your target audience and they preferred
language in order for them to understand and give feedback. Words are bold enough to be
clearly seen.

Of course, It is effective because through this student will enjoy on what they are

1. Name at least five skills that a teacher should have to be able to come up with
effective board displays. Elaborate on why each skill is needed.

In order to be able to come up with effective board display teachers should


have atleast five skills like ceativity, artistic, resourceful, good communicator and
uniqueness. Teachers need to be creative aside from the fact that it gives an
opportunity for students to learn with fun, you are also the facilitator of the classroom
so you have to design it creatively for better learning environment, atistic to think not
only one design and to make it sure that it will be a satisfying one, teachers need to
be resourcegul to save money, energy and effort of everyone for one task, good
communicator to choose accurate words for specific set up and uniqueness to think
new design on how it would catch the attention of everyone not only for target
audience.

2. Which of the skills you named in # 1 do you already have? Recall your pass
experiences in making board displays. How do you practice these skills?

I am very resourceful and unique person, I remember when I was SSG Officer
in our school, I like doing board display just to have new looks in our office and I
usually used plastic tht cn be recycled to make vase, flowers and curtain. I practiced
this skills daily but in different situation. I am educ srudents so I used my skills to
prepare visual aids that is not common in teaching.

3. Which skills do you still need to develop? What concrete steps will you take on
how you can improve on or acquire these skills?

Being creative and artistic in other things because I have a lot of idea but I can’t
make an output to show it. Concrete steps that I will take is study more about it, try
to execute what inside in my head and if by chance I will try to go to worshop.
