P1: describe an important conversation

I had a conversation with my high school history teacher many years

ago that I consider very important. His name is Tuan and he used to take
our history classes at our high school. When I 16 year old, I went to his
room to submit an assignment and then all of a sudden the
conversation started.

I was listening very attentively as he told me about many

international events. He also talked about some of the events that
have changed the world and have significant historical impacts and
importance. I felt great enthusiasm about reading history after the
conversation. I started visiting the central library after that day and
since then, I have read many books which I considered to be
treasures that I found. ( Southern women museum )

The conversation specifically motivated me and pointed out the

importance of learning about history and finally how to use my brain
when there are different versions of history, especially those related to
political events.

P2:
A successful conversation is a conversation that is built between both
speakers. If you say some thing and another one help you built it,
help you make it clear, that is good. For example, when you ask him
about the news today and your point of view is not correct, the person
who you talk with need to explain and help you have a correct view
about that. At first time, it quite hard for both because they can have an
aggument but after that, if they though again, I’m sure that they will
realize new things. The conversation make you better than before is a
successful conversation.
Set2:
P1:
Do you know teacher, on exam test I has to prefer pleasure to work and I
was fail. I had maintain a GPA of 4.0 (for con zero ), but I had under
3.0, my parents had sad a lot and me too, they cut down my money
in 2 weeks. Not only that while that time, when I go to school, I lost my
wallet I lost all my money, I felt disapoited in myself and I didn’t know
what to do for next 2 week. But I still lucky because my parents and my
boyfriend still supported me and helped me become better.
P2:
Every person wants to be successful in life. They have been trying their
best, studying or working hard to reach what they wish for. Some people
believe that success is about hard work. They argue that luck does not
have a part in this case. People succeed depend on how big their effort to
get what they want, not about fortune. But I disagree with the opinion
because I think that success is about effort, pray, and luck.
Set3:
P1:
I still remember that when I was studying in grade 7. My health wasn’t
good enough to play badminton for my school, that calls dengue
( đăng-gi), but I very liked it and I tried my best. Whatever comes will
come, I had got sick and could not play anymore, I had many symptoms
like my forehead being hot at 39 degrees C, my body was out of
energy, and also I couldn’t go anywhere. But the competition would
happen in the next 5 days, my mom brought me to the hospital and
the doctor said I had to rest for at least 10 days. I was quite worried
about that and my mom asked my teacher for me to be absent. That
was the bad illness I had ever had, I had to stay in the hospital for 2
week . But lucky for me, my mom stayed their whole time with me and
my team also won.
P2:
in the past I was dengue ( đăng-gi), and doctor said that my inmune
system is quite weak so easy to get sick, and he said “prevention is
better than cure” and advised me to do more exercies to make my
heath better. I remembered what he said and did a lot of exercises,
tried to played many kind of sports like badminton, volleyball,
running,… That was the hard time for me because I had to use a lot of
strength and I kept those activities for 1 month, I came back to see
my doctor and he said my heath was more better than before. And now
you can see that the epidemic affect and kill many people who has a
weak inmuse system, so if you want to keep you away form illness, you
have to do more exercises and have to remember “prevention is better
than cure”.
SET 4:
P1:
Now I will tell you about my mother, she is 50 years old already but she
is still pretty and also wise. She is smart, she has a very kind face, helps
the poor and he is also the person who inspires me the most. She always
helps me do my homework, gives me nice advice when I need it, and
doesn’t know what to do next. I don’t know how she can do it, but that is
what I want to learn from her. I very respect her, she is the person I will
never forget, will remember what she had taught me and try to be wise
like her.

P2:
For me, it depends on what people think and where they live, in
Europe, they often send their parents into the nursing home, maybe
because they don’t have time to take care of them or in the nursing home
will have a doctor to take care of them when they need. But in Asia, they
don’t do that, they believe that taking care of their parents is their
responsibility, whether they are busy with no money,… A yeah, I also
saw some people in the movie put their parents in a nursing home when
they have inherited the property but for me, because I’m influenced by
Buddhism so I will not give my parents to a nursing home because of
taking care of them is my responsibility, and in Buddhism said that if
you leave your parents who gave birth to you, you will be guilty of a
several crime and suffer eternal torment.

SET 5:
P1:
I would like to tell you my about my journey to Da Nang city. I went
with my family to Da Nang City last summer. We stayed there for a
week. We visited the Marble mountains, Ba Na Hills, Son Tra Peninsula,
Cham Museum, and especially the new bridges, Dragon Bridge and Tran
Thi Ly Bridge. They were beautiful. We went to the beach and had sea
food. We took a lot pictures. I really enjoyed my trip to Da Nang. I will
come back next year.
P2:
For this topic, I will stand in parents team, I like traveling but not
traveling alone, I like traveling with my friends and my family, and for
me, a backpacking trip is dangerous and not fun. Because for these
reasons: firstly, you won’t know what to do when you get in trouble like
being mugged. Secondly, you will have to talk to strange people and you
can be tricked if they are bad people. Thirdly, you can overdose when
you go to a club or a bar alone…. There are many bad things you can
imagine, and if you go with your group or your family you can easy to
protect yourself from bad things like that. Also, we had many news talks
about this topic before and most of them said this kind of trip is not safe,
so for those reasons, I will say no to backpacking trips.
SET 6:
P1:
I live in HCM city so you know right, I always have problem with traffic
jam. Cause of the biggest city in VN so everybody have their own
motobike, they use it for their job, hang out, … Anyway, sometimes
these traffic congestions bring the ‘worst’ in me who usually never
become “angry”, you can imagine that when you have a class but you
nearly late for it because of traffic whether you go early or not. And the
solution for this question is hard for almost people, but for me, I think
we should use public transport more like bus to make it less traffic.
Not too long ago, my city used to be considered as one of the safest
cities in my country as far as environmental pollution is concerned. In
fact, many people from around my whole country settled down in my
city in the past because of its greenery, clean air and clean water.  But,
today, the situation has dramatically changed because its air is not
completely safe to inhale because there are just too many vehicles on the
roads and streets today that emit carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and
nitrogen oxide. And, we all know how these ingredients pollute our
atmosphere and air.
P2:
Plastic bag usage is increasing at an alarming rate, and it is one of the
main causes of land and sea pollution as people often dispose of them
after one time use. I totally agree with the opinion that governments
should gradually prohibit them from being used for shopping purposes.
SET 7:
P1:
To be honest, I have been so caught up in my study since I
entered university that I have a problem in organizing my daily
routine. However, I have been participating in a yoga class for about 2
years, which takes me only 1 hour a day, to try to lead a healthy
lifestyle. What I enjoy the most about yoga is meditation. It is all
about regulating your breathing and helping you take things off your
mind easily. Another thing is that doing yoga is supposed to be good for
curing headaches and digestion related problems, so it benefits not
only physical well-being but also mental health.
P2:
For me is work out at the gym is more effective than at home, cause like
you know at the gym we have more equipment to support us, some gyms
also have a steam room to relax after a hard day, they also have yoga,
boxing, dancing,… for us to choose. And the most important thing is
they have PT, who will support us when we need, they have the
knowledge about health, they can tell us what we should do, what we
should eat and set for us a schedule, we can have more friends when we
hang out so gym is not a bad choice. So for that all advantages I think
the gym is better than.
SET 8:
P1:
He name is Minh. He was like gentleman .He taught me microeconomic
I and my education have been influenced by this person to a great extent.
He had some special ways to complete things. He was straightforward
and never turned biased to any of his students. He loved all the kids like
his own children which attracted me most. Whenever I met him with
some sort of troubles, he guided me the way out of them. So, I like him
much.
P2:
For me, I think the best way to show our feeling is through music and
art. I like music and art when I studied at school, it helped me relax after
exams and made me laugh a lot. When you study music and art, it helps
you realize the talent in yourself, if you are good at music, you can be a
singer, or if you are good at art, you can be the next Leonardo da Vinci.
But most of all, music and art can bring color to your life and connect
you with people, making your life better and more meaningful.
SET 9:
P1: I liked the Christmas celebration in the USA. They made the event
more attractive than it was in my country. So, I was amazed. The things
that attracted my attention were the decoration of the houses, selection
of precious and nice gifts for the people, the Christmas tree and many
more issues. It was the moment for them to enjoy themselves. They also
sing the Christmas carols while some of the houses organize for
storytelling competition marking the day. I also like the sending and
exchanging of the Christmas greeting. For all the reasons, I like this
foreign culture much.
P2:
For me is no, the various foreign cultures will help our cultures various
too. Now is the age of commerce, we have to accept the good cultures of
foreign countries, like you know in VN we don’t have Chrismart, that
event is from foreign cultures and we appreciate it, we make many
parties base form it, make many charity activities to help the poor,…
when another sees it, they will say Vietnamese are good. It helps our
country move up and our cultures more diverse.

SET 10:
P1:
When I study project design 2, we make a project about a bracelet to
protect people about covid when they go to the mall or anywhere. We
need to draw sketches, survey of people. We had to work hard to make it
work.  I learned so many things from this project like, how to work on a
major project with a team, how to build quality equipment on a low
budget, how to fine-tune a project and so on that later became handy for
my university and office projects. And finally the projecrt was very
successful all of us get grade A.
P2: Firstly, social skills such as communication skills are important
when looking for a job, although education is also important and, good
negotiation helps build better business relationships. Second, of course,
social skills cannot replace academic skills or vice versa, and companies
are unlikely to hire a less educated person than a well educated person
just because the former is skilled. better society than the latter. In
summary, social skills are also essential and it is also valued higher than
well-educated people. Social skills can be learned just like academic
skills we can all have them.
