Course Objectives:
The course aims to groom the students in the process of comparative management which prepares them
for life journey through management positions in organizations. Sooner or later, the students, after their
studies, will be involved in managing their own businesses or leading corporate organizations. Good
knowledge of comparative management, and the understanding of the intricacies of managing under
different cultural settings will be useful to the student in other areas of human endeavor.

Assessment Method:
Thirty percent (30%) of marks of a theoretical course shall be allotted for continuous assessment, i.e.
quizzes, Focus Group Interview, Case Study Analysis Assignment, Presentations, Team tasks, class
evaluation and class participation. The rest of the marks will be allotted to final examination. Distribution
of marks for a given course is as follows:

 The contents stated in the outline are volatile. The contents will be changed by the jurisdiction of
the authorized course instructor.
 Contents covered during the class lectures will be considered as updated course out line. So be
very cautious and alert regarding taking notes of each class lecture.
 Each student will have to maintain a distinct note book for this particular course.
 At the end of the semester note books will have to be submitted to authorize course instructor.
 All students are encouraged to attend the classes on time.
 No chance to sit on make-up examinations of missed class tests.
