CAPSTONE 1 TEACHING ENGLISH NOW!!

First Answer

I am college student and taking the course for education. I want to teach others what they want to
know, I want to educate them the way I have been educated. I want to inspire them that being a teacher
is a second parents for every children. My short term teaching purpose is facilitate the students
everyday learning needs so that my long term purpose will come true. It is to mold student to become a
better person in the future for the country, for their family and specially for themselves.

Second Answer

I believe that the most relatable approach for me is the communicative approach. For me this approach
is the best for my teaching. This approach is the best for students to improve their reading, writing,
listening, and speaking. For teaching English I believe that this is the best approach for the student
because it connects people together have a lot of practices. In my country the Filipinos are very sociable
people that is why we need a good English teacher here in our country especially for college students.

Third Answer

In teaching English I preferred the technique 80/20, because according to the studies acquiring language
comes from many practices like a new born child. It comes up a lot of practice to acquire his/her
language. Using warm-language is very helpful for the class to recall and shift topic whenever it comes.
Scaffolding is good for student that can get the job without guidance. Using different kinds of techniques
depends on the situation. It will depend on your student, the environment and you as a teacher.
