2021 VIRTUAL DIVISION SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE

I. Background and Rationale

Republic Act 7079 of 1991, otherwise known as Campus Journalism Act puts premium on the advocacy of
an active school journalism program wherein communication skills and talents of learners are developed giving them
an avenue to express their thoughts and opinions in varied journalistic approaches through responsible journalism, this
division proposes to conduct the 2021Virtual Division Schools Press Conference on February 22 – 26, 2021 at
Libertad National High School as the center for communications.

II. The objectives of this conference are to:


a. Serve as virtual forum of communicating through a variety of journalistic approaches;

b. Enhance journalistic competencies through individual and group competitions;


c. Demonstrate commitment to the challenges of responsible journalism;

4. Honoraria of Speaker-Judges = 85, 000.00
5. IT Experts Prof. Fee (4) = 10,000.00
6. Hotel Accommodation of 2 Speaker-Judges for 3 days = 8, 000.00
7. Medals – Customized (720 pcs @ 60) = 43, 200.00
8. Trophies 12 - Small, Medium and Large = 10, 000.00
9. Center Venue Internet Lab./Connection Rent = 7, 000.00
