Good morning Everyone, Before the start of the session I would like to make few Announcements. I
request All Our Guests, Speakers, Paper Presenters and Conference Attendees to be patient if any
Network Problem Turn up and In case anyone gets disconnected they can use the same ZOOMid to login
again. We request our guests and dignitaries to please keep their videos on for sometime in the beginning.
Requesting all other attendees to keep themselves on mute mode and the mobile phones in silent mode.

A very Good Morning to our Honored guests, dignitaries, faculty members,

Paper presenters, other Meeting Attendees and our dear students,
I ___ from Department of Information Technology on behalf of Jagannath
International Management School Vasant Kunj, feel extremely honored to have
an opportunity to welcome you all to this Online National Conference on
Information Technology and Innovation Ecosystem organized by Department of
Information Technology, JIMS, Vasant Kunj.

The sudden and unexpected COVID-19, pandemic has had a drastic impact on
our lives and prevented us all from attending this prestigious conference in
person. But, our spirits are high and this virus outbreak has not stopped us from
finding alternate ways to connect with the world. It has in fact shown us all
various new ways of conducting successful events online. I feel privileged to
address you all in this prestigious moment, which we have been able to achieve
with great efforts and teamwork of all the faculty members of Department of
Information Technology, JIMS, VK collectively in association with ICT
academy and GGSIP University.

To make this a success story, we have amongst us, a galaxy of experts to

speak upon core areas of our conference. We have been privileged to be
joined by our esteemed Chairman Dr. Amit Gupta and our respected
Director Dr. Ravi K Dhar along with the dignitaries Dr. K. Vijaya
Lakshmi as our Keynote Speaker, Mr. Saumyajit Guha and Mr. Aman
Sanduja, as our Guest Speaker for the inaugural session, followed by Dr
Ruchika Malhotra and Dr Naresh Kumar as our session chair and co-
chair for Technical Session 1, along with Dr A K Mahapatra, joining us in
a short while for Technical Session 2 which will be co-chaired by Dr
Meenakshi Narula our Head of Department for this Online National
Conference on Information Technology and Innovation Ecosystem. I
welcome you all and thank you for having taken time out from your busy
schedules for our online conference and feel honored with your presence
on this platform. I am sure our attendees and members of our faculty will
derive great intellectual delight from listening to you all and definitely
benefit from your words of wisdom and innovative ideas.

But before moving any further, I request Everyone to join hands for 2 min for
seeking the blessings of Maa Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge and arts, for
helping us all to absorb the free flow of knowledge and wisdom shared during
the session,

About Conference
Moving further, In the todays age and time Information Technology has
revolutionized daily lives of individuals and organizations, as we all observed
during this pandemic lockdown too. Digital Communications, Social Media,
Smart Devices, Online Shopping, Online Meetings and Cloud Computing are just
a few examples of the change that we’ve seen. We can expect even greater
transformation with the rise of the Big Data, Internet of Things, Artificial
Intelligence and Blockchain Technology. Today, it’s impossible to achieve
optimal marketing, sales, customer support, business planning, management,
monitoring and growth without flexible IT solutions that allow for innovation,
which the world has seen already and applied too during these hard times. The
whole world has been able to fight this emotional trauma in isolation of their
homes only due to the best use of all above mentioned technologies as per their
requirement on various virtual platforms.

All this was possible due to Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which are the two
important pillars of economic growth of any country. India also needs to develop
and nurture these two strengths as it progresses towards becoming a knowledge-
driven and Atam-nirbhar economy. The Innovation Ecosystem consists of
business participants, start-ups, small scale enterprise academia, technical and
other support services agencies, and the individuals that drive results.
JIMS, VK a synonym to perseverance for success, believes that
Information, Innovation, Knowledge and Entrepreneurship are driving
factors for which we need to organize platforms for people to come an
meet often towards becoming a knowledge-driven economy in these
COVID hit hard time. This conference is a step further in this direction.We
have attempted to bring people of high intellect to examine and understand the
transformation across the world of Information Technology with the rise of the
technologies like Big data, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Machine
Learning and Block Chain Technology. Our online conference has welcomed and
accepted conceptual and empirical papers, highlighting the application of
Information Technology and Innovative solutions for organizations as well as
individuals in the current scenario.

About JIMS
The conference has been organized under flagship of Our Institute
Jagannath International Management School, Vasant Kunj which was
Established in 2003. Since then in these 13 years of glory, it has emerged as one
of the topmost institutes of GGSIPU of Delhi. The college has been awarded the
highest grade, A, by the Joint Assessment Committee of GGS Indraprastha
University and the Govt. of NCT of Delhi and by the University Academic Audit
Committee, and '+A', the highest grade, by the State Fee Regulatory Committee
of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi for the last over 5 years. The institute has also been

We have amidst us our esteemed Chairman, Dr. Amit Gupta.

Profile of Dr. Amit Gupta
Dr Amit Gupta, Chairman, Jagannath International Management School (JIMS),
is not only an eminent educationist, an outstanding scholar but also an excellent
sports person.
 
He is a Commerce Graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi
University and MBA from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi. His
Doctorate degree was awarded by the GGS Indraprastha University.
 
Inspired by the ideal of making education meaningful to the times, Sir has laid
the foundation of a modern professionally-run institution of higher learning,
Jagannath International Management School (JIMS), with campuses spread all
over Delhi and the adjoining states of Haryana, UP and Rajasthan along with a
private university named Jagannath University, at Jaipur and Bahadurgarh.
 
 Dr. Amit Gupta has been honored with many awards by national and
international bodies such as:
● He was selected among 2000 “Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st
Century” by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England.
● He was also conferred the prestigious title of “Man of the Year” by the
American Bibliographical Institute and Shiksha Ratan Award and Gold
Medal by Institute of Economic Studies for his outstanding contribution to
the development of education in India.
 
Dr. Amit Gupta is member of EO– Entrepreneurs Organization since Feb 2011.
Not only that, Dr. Amit Gupta is currently The President of Rotary Nirvana, an
arm of Rotary International. He has been sponsoring many special welfare
projects including establishing 8 Ekal Vidyalayas in the remotest parts of the
country and construction of 3 new schools under Round Table India to educate
the children of the marginalized sections of the society. He has also provided free
skill training to more than 1000 women and girls till date in the area of Beauty,
Sewing & Tailoring courses which has enabled them to earn their livelihood
successfully.

Ravi K. Dhar
Profile of Dr. Ravi K. Dhar
Dr. Dhar has completed his Doctorate in English from the North-Eastern Hill
University, Shillong and Master of Journalism and Mass Communication from
Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Dr Dhar started his career as a lecturer in
English at North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong. He has taught English and
Journalism at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana and at the Ethiopian
Civil Services University, Addis Ababa.

Dr. Dhar has published papers in English Literature, Education and Mass
Communication, apart from presenting papers in conferences at Stockholm,
Bangkok and Chuncheon, in South Korea. He has published four books. Among
these are “Media in the Swirl”, a book on new Media, “Indian Management:
Thought and Practice”, “Orphans of the Storm”, a novel and “The Chant (चान्ट) of
Vitasta (वितस्ता)”, a collection of poems. He has also edited a book on poetry, titled
“The Rhyme of The Mystic Mariner”. He is the Senior Vice President in the
Delhi Chapter of CEGR. He has also been awarded Poesie India Award for
contribution to Peace and Understanding.

Dr K VijayaLaxmi Profile
Dr. K. Vijaya Lakshmi is the Vice President of Development Alternatives Group,
responsible for technology innovation and research at the Group. A chemist by
training, Dr. Vijaya Lakshmi’s main focus and achievements are in the area of
water quality management, associated with development and application of
innovative technologies that address the problems of women.
She took upon herself the challenge of demystifying the science of water quality
monitoring and management. She has been the recipient of the National Award
for
Women's Development through application of Science and Technology for the
year 2007 granted by the President of India. She has guided the development of
testing kits and water filters and that can be taken to villages in India. She is an
advisor to the India Water Partnership and has been the Asia regional member in
the Global Water Partnership forum.

As a key advisory committee member for ISO, advised on CSR standard

development. She has guided the design and implementation of multi-stakeholder
processes for setting up of voluntary standards for Corporates, especially in the
lead acid battery and hospitality sectors. She has expertise in Environmental
Management Systems (EMS) planning, design and facilitation of
implementation,
Environment Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Monitoring and
Prediction (EMP) studies.

May I now request you Ma’am to enlighten our audience with your
knowledgeable talk. I am sure everyone is keen to listen to you ma’am just
like I am.

Mr Saumyajit holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Exeter

University and have over 19+ years of experience with recognized proficiency in:
Startup Ecosystem Development, Investment management, Angel Investing,
Startup Acceleration & Incubation, Incubator Management, Research &
Analysis, Team Management, Process Migration, Operations, Business Analysis.
He is currently working for PadUp ventures as Vice President. Before that he
was a faculty at IMT Ghaziabad in the area of Strategy Innovation and
Entrepreneurship and was responsible for the Incubator and E Cell of IMT
Ghaziabad.
Prior to joining IMT, he was heading the India operations of Jaarvis Accelerator
as Principal. Previous to this he was leading Calcutta Angels Network as the
C.O.O. He has also worked at IIM-Calcutta (IIMC) and was responsible for
establishing the incubation centre IIMCIP of the institute. Along with that He has
also worked at the Start Up Incubator at IIT, Kharagpur.Mr Guha after
completing his MBA stayed in the UK for 5 years, There he has worked for
Chartered Development as IT Project Campaign Manager and with Secure
Source as a Business Analyst.

Mr GUHA SPEECH
Thank you sir, your stimulating speech and innovative ideas would be
helpful to those doing research. I am sure many attendees were at a
standstill in their progress, and your talk seemed to provide much needed
help. Thanks again for a truly memorable session. We hope to gain from

Mr Aman Sanduja , Co founder Zubi Infortech
Mr Sanduja is an emerging technology leader and an entrepreneur who has co-
founded three companies. He has taught 5000+ students and professionals on
blockchain and digital assets across Southeast Asia. Mr Sanduja is a professor on
UPgrad, a TEDx speaker and also on the board of Times groups, Bennett
University.
Previously, he did innovation with Google and Primal Enterprise. Sir has
excelled courses on entrepreneurship and management from IIT Delhi and
Stanford University. He is one of the early adopters of blockchain and
cryptocurrencies in India and has advised various state governments and
organizations on the adoption and application of the technology. He has also
traded, and managed portfolios and has spoken at numerous premier institutions
and organizations in the country.

AMAN SANDUJA
Thank you sir , I am sure just like me all other attendees have taken a lot of

DR Narula
Now We have amongst us in the session Dr Meenakshi Narula, Head of
Department of Information Technology, who has been the guiding soul behind
the hard work of our department team throughout these dark days of lockdown.
Ma’am is having more than 23 years of industry and academic experience. She is
having Consistent academic record with PhD in computer science and post
graduate degrees of M.Tech in Information Technology and M.Sc in
Mathematics.
Apart from heading the IT department of JIMS for the last 12 years, she is also
the Programme Coordinator of BCA programme of Guru Gobind Singh
Indraprastha University. She has been instrumental in revision of the syllabus of
BCA, coordinating with more than 30 affiliated colleges of the university
offering BCA programme.
Before joining academics, she has worked in the industry and had been involved
in developing software for banking, housing finance and education sectors. She
has published and presented many research papers in the areas of soft computing,
fuzzy logics and expert systems in various conferences and journals.
