MASTER OF MANAGEMENT

This Masters of Management (MM) primarily aimed at new or recently


qualified graduates as well as experienced graduates from any discipline
to gain access to an appropriate higher degree programme in
management.

The overall aim of the MM is to develop transferable knowledge and


intellectual skills which are keys to successful general and strategic
management in private sector and public sector organisations.

The MM Programme is taught in English on a full-time (one and a half


years) and part-time (two – four years) basis, beginning in August of
each year.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE AND REQUIREMENTS

The MM is offered in a variety of formats to meet student needs.


Students can choose to undertake a structured specialisation, as
outlined in the following pages, or they can take a general
management program that allows them to choose electives from the
full range of modules, depending on availability.

The credit requirement to graduate is 48 modular credits

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

For admission to the MM programme, a candidate must have a


Bachelor’s degree with Honours in any discipline at 2:2 level or better
from Universiti Brunei Darussalam or any university or institution
recognised by the Senate. The candidate must also possess a good
proficiency in the spoken and written English Language, which is at
least a credit 6 in English Language at GCE ‘O’ Level Examination,
IELTS 6.5, or TOEFL 550.
