THE PLOT (25 Points)
(Write the plot of the story by narrating the parts of the

Introduction: (5 Points)

Back in 2016, pop culture had reached its peak with superheroes. Every other weekend,
another man or woman in tights was saving the world from a maniacal supervillain,
retrieving a magical stone, or hanging out with Groot, a sentient tree. For crying out loud,
we even have a movie called Ant-Man about a guy who can communicate with ants.
Superheroes had reached their apex as a genre.

Rising Action: (5 Points)

Deadpool has decided that he no longer wants to live. He is willing to do anything to die,
but he discovers that there is a serum that disables his healing factor. So Deadpool goes to
the X-force and Bob and uses them to obtain the serum that can kill him. Bob approaches
the tombstone and requests the serum. They make a deal: Bob must inject the serum into
Deadpool so that Tombstone can kill him.

Climax: (5 Points)

Mitsuha confront her father in order to convince him to evacuate the town before the
meteor strikes. Given that they survive, it is implied that she persuaded him to evacuate,
and we've never seen her persuade him.
THE PLOT (25 Points)
(Write the plot of the story by narrating the parts of the
plot.)

Falling Action: (5 Points)

Tombstone is on the hunt for Bob and Deadpool because he broke the deal with Tombstone
and did not have Deadpool killed. After they change into civilian clothes, as they board the
train to leave New York, the X-force appears, and Deadpool saves Bob once more, and the
film ends with them all holding each other at gunpoint.

Resolution: (5 Points)

Deadpool persuades Wolverine not to kill him and grants him three days to assist his friend,
Bob, in escaping from the gravestone. Deadpool also reconsiders killing himself and
Theme: (5 Points)

The theme is to appreciate your life and recognize that you only have one, so utilize it
wisely.

Mood: (5 Points)

There are many notable quirks and characters to enjoy. It's also a lot wittier than I expected
as a comedy, and I enjoyed picking up on all of the pop culture references.

Purpose: (5 Points)

Deadpool tells the origin tale of Wade Wilson, a former Special Forces operator turned
mercenary who, after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with fast
healing powers, adopts the alter name Deadpool. Deadpool seeks out the man who nearly
destroyed his life, armed with his new skills and a sick, twisted sense of humor.
Reading Comprehension
Directions: Answer the following questions in minimum of 5 sentences. Follow the correct spelling,
punctuations, capitalization, and grammar. (5 Points each)

1. Which character is most like you? How is he or she like you?

I think the character that most closely likes me is Deadpool, because, like him, I am a
happy person. All I want is good vibes. I also want to be like him not because he has
power but because he wants to protect women and children. Many have thought that
Deadpool is a bad guy but they didn't know how Deadpool has a big heart.

2. How realistic are the characters? Do any remind you of people you know?

The characters are realistic because who they are in the movie is very relatable to us. My
friend is like Vanessa, the fiance of Deadpool,  because like her, my friend is also tough
and not afraid, even though he knows he can't fight. Even though his personality is
strong, he is a very kind person and very respectful to others. He also cares for others.

3. If you can change the ending of the story, what would you like to happen?

No, I don't want to change the ending because it's so wonderful, has a happy
ending, and is absolutely appropriate for the movie. Despite the fact that
Wade has learn a wholesome, feel-good lesson in order to win the day,
Deadpool's ending works only because of its darker aspects. Colossus attempts
to appeal to Wade's humanity at the end of the film, when Wade finally has
Ajax at his mercy. Wade, he believes, should do the right thing and save Ajax.
Even if I change it, the ending I want is still a happy one.
