Activity 2. Sequencing

The document provides a sequencing activity for three learning domains: cognitive, psychomotor, and affective. Participants are asked to arrange learning competencies from lowest to highest level based on the taxonomy for each domain. For the cognitive domain on mechanical energy, the competencies range from remembering to creating. In psychomotor skills for basic sketching, they range from observing to adapting. For the affective domain short story topic, they range from receiving to internalizing values.

The Taxonomies of Cognitive, Psychomotor and Affective Domains have levels called vignettes. Arrange
the learning competencies using the hierarchy from lowest to highest. (1 - lowest)

Domain: Cognitive

Topic A: Mechanical Energy

________a) Decide whether the total mechanical energy remains the same during a certain process.
________b) Create a device that shows conservation of mechanical energy.
________c) State the law of conservation of energy.
________d) Explain energy transformation in various activities or events.
________e) Perform activities to demonstrate conservation of mechanical energy.
________f) Determine the relationship among the kinetic, gravitational potential and total
mechanical energies of a mass at any point between maximum potential energy and maximum
kinetic energy.

Domain: Psychomotor

Topic B: Basic Sketching

________a) Watch how tools are selected and used in sketching.

________b) Create a design using combination of lines curves and shapes.
________c) Draw various lines, curves and shapes.
________d) Set the initial drawing position

Domain: Affective

Topic C: Short story

________a) Write down important details of the short story pertaining to character, setting and
events.
________b) Share inferences, thoughts and feelings based on the short story.
________c) Relate story events to personal experience.
________d) Read carefully the short story.
________e) Examine thoughts on the issues raised in the short story.

of mechanical energy.

Determine the relationship among the kinetic,

gravitational potential and total mechanical
energies of a mass at any point between
maximum potential energy and maximum
kinetic energy.

Watch how tools are selected and used in

sketching.
