POSSIBLE CALL CENTER INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

1. Tell me about yourself.


Take this time to highlight your accomplishments, strengths and previous job experiences. Not the
information already on your resume.
Example:
1. No experience yet-
Introduce yourself first, what school you are from, achievements in school, skills you learned, etc.
2. With experience-
Introduce yourself first, what where your job experiences, skills and achievements

2. Why do you want to work for our company?


Best answer would be to research VMG and history of the company. Let them know why you are
interested working with them (use their VMG or motto) or you can also tell them you have a lot of free
time and you want to use your time wisely // not about money!

3. What are your strengths and weaknesses?


Match your strengths to the preferred skills and qualifications in the job description
Example.
Strengths: skills useful for the job (hardworking, fast learner, team player, etc.)
Weakness: no experience but top it with your strength

4. What’s your idea of a call center?


Please search what is a BPO industry, what call center agents do (inbound and outbound), what qualities
fit for this job (let them know you have it as well but it must be the qualifications the company is looking
for, refer to their VMG)

5. Why do you want to work in a call center?


You can say:
- You love communicating with different people
- You love helping people
- You are excited to work in a fast-paced environment that will challenge you to use all your skills to
solve problems and improve the customer experience

6. What is your idea of quality customer service?


Meaning what are the qualities should someone possess to be a great customer service agent

7. How would you handle a call from an angry customer?


Tell them the steps
Ex.
First step, calm myself. Second, listen and understand (empathizing). Third, assure you will help to
resolve the issue

8. Why we should hire you for our company?


Let them know your talent you got and show how perfect you are for that job

9. Are you comfortable with night shifts?


You are good anytime

10. Where do you see yourself in five years?


Tell the interviewer that in five years you see yourself working for this very company…but promoted to a
more powerful position!

NOTE: Please research more unexpected questions. Ex. What is integrity, how many km here from your
residence, how to explain blue to blind, what is your motto, etc. Write or practice your script.
