5 Methodology
Research design well defined-You need to determine
whether you are using quantitative or qualitative.
Quantitative research is the collection of numerical data
to explain, predict and ar control fact of interest.
Qualitative research Is the collection, analysis and
interpretation of comprehensive narative and visual data
to gain insights into a particular fact of interest. Describe
how you ill conduct the research.

Sample adequately described - Describe and select the

population. Example: all workers at NCB cross roads
branch. Then you describe and select the sample. You will
describe the particlpants you wll use, e.g. you choose
managers and as well as line staff and so on. You need to
detemine whether you are using random sample (simple
random sampling, stratified sampling or cluster sampling)
or systematic sampling. You must determine the sample
size based on the number of employees, try not to make

larger the sample should be, for example if you have 10

employees you should use at least 8, If tis a large
business with 50 employees use 20% of the employees.

ended, this will make it easierto analyze.

disagree and strongly disagree); Importance Scale (
extremely importánt, very important, somewhat important,
not very important and not at all important); Rating Scale
(excollent, very good, good, fair and poor).
