1. Establish your own definition of early childhood education /preschool education


based from the lesson, your experiences, and observations.

- For me as a future educator, early childhood education, otherwise called


nursery schooling, is part of training hypothesis that identifies with the
educating of youngsters from birth up to the age of eight. Customarily, this is
up to what could be compared to 3rd grade. ECE is depicted as a significant
period in kid advancement.

- In my experience and observation, I was teaching kids age 5 to 8 years old in


piano classes, in this age they have short attention span which they like always
to play, jump, run around, and everything they would do until they get tired. I
experience that kind of situation in my teaching ministry as a piano teacher.
It’s not easy to handle such kids when you have a serious class going on yet it
was fun. You will do everything in order to get their attention. You could be
their teacher, you could be a cartoon character, you could be their sister, all in
one. In order for me to teach them, acting, interacting with them and gave
them rewards is the solution for me.
