Are there any further comments you wish to give in support of this application?

Because I hold a BA in the Liberal Arts (for which I was awarded Campion College’s gold medal for
graduating at the top of my cohort), I have firsthand knowledge of, and a deep appreciation for,
the benefits of a liberal arts education. faculty in the School of Liberal Arts
In terms of publications, I have just had an article published in the most recent issue of The
Journal of Theological Studies (Oxford Academic). Moreover, I have also been encouraged by
Professor John Behr, who occupies the Regius Chair of Humanity at the University of Aberdeen, to
publish my 105,000-word Masters thesis which examines the use of Genesis 2-3 in the Gospel of
John. He wrote of my thesis that “[w]hile the relationship between [Genesis and John’s Gospel] has, of
course, been noted almost from the beginning [of Christianity] … and has been the subject of much
scholarly examination over the course of the past century, I have found nothing … that matches this
work in terms of scope and insight.” The revised manuscript, which is almost complete, should be
ready for submission to an academic publisher later this year.
