IV. Discussion
1. Do you think being good at multitasking give Generation Z an edge over other
generations?
- Yes, I do.you will have to struggle with the time pressure of multitasking, and you will be
better, i think so
- It depends, when doing tedious tasks, multi-tasking could help you make use of time
effectively, but it is not the case when you are attempting to master something by learning by
heart.
-multi-tasking gives you a sense of satisfaction when the time is passing by as you have already
completed a whole host of work.

2. Are you surprised by the fact that members of Gen Z are in favour of face-to-face
communication?
- Given the popularity of the online conversation in which people can only hear the voice of each
other, young people will be more interesting in other practical and realistic ways of
communication which show more of others’ facial expression
-Yes, As living in a digital age, i think genz is more into direct communication
- Yes, especially after knowing a fact that Gen Z think it is okay to own a phone at the age of 13.
3. Why are fast customer services so important to Gen Z?
In my view, gen Z is not as patient as other generations. when purchasing a product, they want
to have it right away. Other thing is young people keep up to date with the trend, they just want
to show off that they own a popular items

In my way of thinking, I think bc we dont want to serve a single customer for a long time. I want
to find new products, new customers.
though it’s just company’s competitiveness
I think gen Z just see time differently. The older generation may want to enjoy each moment to
the fullest by not living too fast; gen Z, on the other hand, want to make the most out of each
minute. Slow services are a waste of precious time for them.
- i think modern technology causes a big impact on their character a lot. Getting used to
short time act makes them cant wait for a long time
4. Why do you think Gen Zers are not as tolerant as the older generation?
I suppose every generation would be less lenient in the same way because that is the nature of
being in the youth age, and gen z are the remarkable proof in this contemporary time. We are
young, lack of life experiences. These factors lead to some superficial actions.

I guess online platforms offer gen Z a channel to raise their voice freely, even without any
serious consequences. For this reason, there is no need to be tolerant. That is to say whenever a
member of gen Z disagrees with someone, he just needs to speak out, refute and defend his own
belief. Other generations, generally, have to deal with confrontation face-to-face, which makes
them reluctant to confront others.
It is because Gen Z have limitless opportunities to think out of the box by approaching their
ideas as well as sharing it using social media so they are more independent in thinking.
5. Why are Gen Zers considerably influenced by social media influencers? >< TV
celebrities
because they are the role model which gen Z want to be. we can learn how they become
successful.
while TV celebrities show their influence in some specific areas such as entertainment or
politics, social media influencers have a more profound impact on a larger scale. In other words,
people such as Youtubers are more relatable to the mass because of their different backgrounds
and able to dig into a whole host of uncommon subjects, while the majority of TV stars are
inherited by their families and have to consider their words when speaking due to their possible
impacts on politicians .

I don't know if any of you guys have the same problem as mine but when I was a student, every
time I turned on the TV, my mom insulted me. So I think social media used in smartphones,
tablets, and laptops is kinda personal and private. So my mom couldn’t find out what i was doing
besides studying.

i don't know the reasons why...but I'm easily affected

obviously because of the exposure. Gen Z are exposed to a host of contents on social media
platforms and as they are still in their young age, they are often impressed by stories told by
successful individuals. Also, social media figures really know how to show off their best bits and
cover undesired aspects of their lives. Instagram, Tik Tok or even Snap Chat provide a perfect
tool for users to appear best.
