Robbery
April 2011

Activity Summary:
• There were three (3) robberies reported in April 2011. There were zero (0) robberies reported during the
same timeframe in 2010. The percentage change from 2010 to 2011 is non-calculable.
• The incidents occurred in the A2, B3, and C5 reporting areas.
• The incidents occurred on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
• Victims sustained injuries in two of the three incidents.
• Two (2) incidents are currently open for further investigation and one (1) incident has been closed due to
victim refusal to cooperate.

Historically, HPD has an average of 1 robbery during the month of April with a current threshold of 0 to 2. This April,
we exceeded the threshold with 3 reported robberies.

Forecast for May:


The average number of robberies for the month of May is 1 plus or minus 1. By the end of May, there is a 68%
chance HPD will have received between 0 and 2 reported robberies.
