1. Why is Art important?

 Art is so important because of this we can appreciate our nature and we would know that
everything around us involves art and it talk to us. Because of this we would know how great
and creative our God on how perfectly he created the earth. Art is also important in terms in of
expressing people’s thoughts, ideas, opinions, emotions and even beliefs. Art is the reason why
everything we saw is created. Through art we could bring back the past because people that are
getting involved in studying the world’s history they’re using art as their basis in examining the
past.

2. Reflective Questions:

2.1 What is your own art expression? What particular art expression are you engaged in?

 I express my ideas and emotions through writing a poem, for I know that writing a poem also an
art. Sometimes I draw or sketching my own face because I’m inspired to the videos I’m
watching.

A. Self-fulfilment

Everytime I engage myself in art, it gives me happiness and satisfaction. It brings unexplainable
joy, because I am nurturing the skills and talent that God has given to me.

B. Values and Moral Upliftment

Through Arts it promotes values and Moral upliftment because it creates harmony, and shows
charity and appreciation to the culture, beliefs and ideas of the people.

C. Environmental Consciousness

Through Arts it helps me to appreciate the beauty of the environment and nature that
surrounds me. It helps me to understand every detail of the nature. And the environmental
serves as my basis and inspiration to make beautiful art.

TEST

Briefly examine the art work below. What ideas, thoughts, and feelings do you think the artist would
want to convey you? What part of the artwork made you say so?
The ideas and thoughts that the artist wants to convey to me is about, how people striving hard and as
we could see they unite together in order to survive. Also it shows the simple living of people on the
past and how hard it is the lives of people in that time. The part of the artwork that made me say so, is
the whole art. Because it strongly describing or showing unto us how simple the life of those people that
can be seen in the picture of artwork. This artwork reminds me the living of Filipino’s in the past.
