13. Whenever there is evidence or suspicion that an internal part of the machine is overheating, the
machine should be stopped from operation, but the inspection cover must be opened after sufficient
cooling time to avoid the risk of spontaneous combustion of the oil vapour when air enters.
14. After maintenance or overhaul, please check whether the working pressure, temperature and time
Settings are correct before cleaning the machine for use. Check that all control and stop devices are
installed and working properly. Ensure that no tools, loose parts or rags are left in or on the machine.
15. When replacing the filter element of the separator, please check the carbon accumulation inside
the discharge pipe and the oil-gas separator; If there is too much carbon, it should be removed.
16. Protect electric motors, air filters, electronic components and regulating components from
moisture. For example, during steam cleaning.
17. Do not remove or tamper with any acoustic insulation materials. Ensure that all sound insulation
and shock absorbers (e.g. sound insulation on the housing and air inlet and outlet systems of the
compressor) are in good condition. In case of damage, please replace with the original material
provided by the manufacturer in case of rising sound pressure level.
18. Do not use corrosive solvents that can damage the air pipe network materials (e.g., acid ester
base).
19. Do not remove or tamper with safety devices, protective devices or insulators installed on the
machine. One or more pressure relief devices shall be used as required to protect each pressure vessel
or auxiliary equipment installed outside the machine where the air pressure exceeds the atmospheric
pressure.

2.5 warning
Compressed air and electricity are dangerous. Before any work on this air compressor:
1 to ensure that the power supply has been cut off, lock the switch and hang the sign;
2. All pressures have been discharged from the whole air compressor system;
When the machine is in operation, it shall not remove all kinds of caps, install or remove any joints or
devices. The high-temperature liquid and compressed air contained in the machine will cause serious
personal injury or even death.
Air compressor motor start control box has high voltage risk, all installation should be carried out in
accordance with accepted laws and regulations, before working on the electrical system, ensure that
the use of manual disconnect switch can cut off the system voltage, in the power supply line into the
air compressor must be equipped with no fuse switch. The person responsible for the installation of
the equipment must provide proper grounding for all electrical components, maintain space and
lightning protection.

It is not allowed to run the air compressor under the exhaust pressure specified by the nameplate of
the air compressor, otherwise the motor will be overloaded, which will cause the air compressor to
trip.
Use only safe solvents to clean air compressors and auxiliary equipment.
A manual globe valve (partition type) shall be installed in the exhaust pipe. If a relief valve is installed
between the globe valve and the air compressor, the relief valve must have sufficient capacity to
release the maximum continuous air flow of the air compressor.
Once the pressure is released through the relief valve, it is due to excessive pressure in the system and
the cause of the excessive pressure must be identified immediately.
If air compressor oil enters the air system of the factory, it will have an adverse effect. Properly
selected and installed oil and gas separator can minimize any liquid carrier in the air. The use of a
plastic shell without a metal cover for piping filtration may be dangerous and should be used on any
pressure system from a safety point of view. It is recommended that you recheck the factory's gas
system.
If a storage tank is installed, it shall be installed and maintained in accordance with the regulations on
pressure vessel inspection issued by the ministry of labor of the People's Republic of China.
Before starting the air compressor, read the maintenance instructions carefully and thoroughly.
After the maintenance work is completed, all kinds of cover plates and shells must be reinstalled.
The unit is not allowed to start running when the cover plate is opened.
Warning
Failure to follow these safety recommendations can result in mechanical failure, property damage,
serious personal injury and death. Any connected with the inlet/outlet joint of the intake pipe and
exhaust pipe vibration must be considered, pulse, temperature, maximum pressure and the factors
such as corrosion resistance and chemical resistance, in addition, also should pay attention to the air

compatibility between the post-processing equipment and software system.

in the environment condenses under pressure, cools in an air line behind it, and condenses back into
water. Almost all air applications require the removal of moisture from compressed air, which is often
costly.
Some of the common problems caused by water: corrosion and scaling of pipes, clogging of meters,
jammed control valves, and freezing of outdoor air lines. Compressed air dryer can reduce the
concentration of water vapor, prevent the formation of liquid water in the air pipeline. The
combination of dryer with filter, aftercooler and automatic discharge valve can improve the efficiency
of air system. In order to solve the problem of water content in compressed air system, two kinds of
dryers can be used, namely, freezing dryer and regenerative dryer. When the compressed air pressure
dew point requirements in 33.8℉ to 39.2℉, generally available freeze-drying, and when the pressure
dew point requirements must be below 33.8 ℉ , should use regenerative dryer. Please contact your
local distributor to help you choose the right dryer.
Note: rotary air compressors cannot be connected to a reciprocating air pressure system without
pulsation isolation devices (such as Shared air tanks). We recommend connecting two different types
of air compressors to a common storage tank using separate air lines.
When multiple air compressors are installed in parallel (optional), a shutoff valve and drain valve
should be provided for each air compressor before sharing the storage tank.
Notice:
(1) when multiple machines are connected in parallel, drainage devices must be installed, which
should be installed at the back end of air outlet of compressor.
(2) before each startup, be sure to open the drain valve of the oil and gas barrels of the unit and the
gas storage barrels of the system to completely remove the condensate

(3) pay attention to the regular inspection of the drainage function of the post-treatment device and

Check whether the motor and control circuit are firmly connected. Re-close the control box.
Please refer to JB6213.5 -- 92 national standard for air compressor main power cord, ground wire and
fusible switch (NFB) of appropriate specification to ensure safe use of electrical appliances. The safe
current of the power line is set under the condition that the ambient temperature is 95 ℉ , the
operating temperature is below 131℉, the line length is less than 20 meters and is based on 600V PVC
wire. When the power line cannot meet the above set conditions, the power line specification should
be increased to avoid the voltage drop exceeds the limit to start the air compressor, or even produce
electrical hazard.

(4) limited to the size of the control box, a single cable should not be too thick. If the cross-sectional
area of the power line is large, two or more power lines can be substituted. When using more than one
power cord, each power cord must be balanced in three phases, otherwise the cable will overheat and
the resultant voltage will be unbalanced. The input power supply voltage shall be kept within the
rated voltage ± 10%, and the three-phase voltage difference shall be within 3%. Air compressor must
have the correct grounding wire, otherwise the noise may be connected to any control system in
series, causing interference. If the grounding problem cannot be improved, the controller may have
the temperature, current, pressure value fluctuation.

In the oil separator, most of the oil in the air-oil mixture is removed by centrifugal motion. The
remaining oil is removed through an oil-gas separator. The lubricating oil system is equipped with a
temperature control valve. When the oil temperature is lower than (140℉), the temperature control
valve will cut off the oil supply from the oil cooler. The air pressure pushes the oil from the oil
separator through the oil filter to the compressor head, and the cooler is bypassed. When the oil
temperature rises to 140℉, the temperature control valve will start to open the supply from the oil
cooler. At about 167℉, all the oil will flow through the oil cooler, return to the temperature control
valve after cooling by the fan, and then enter the oil filter before filtering into the head of the machine.

The cooling system consists of air cooler and oil cooler.

Inlet valve, minimum pressure valve, temperature control valve
Intake valve:

alarm light is on or flashing, troubleshooting is required.
3.7.5 downtime
Press the stop button and the running indicator will go out. The compressor will stop running. To stop
the compressor in case of emergency, press the emergency stop
button , close the air outlet valve.The alarm indicator will flash.
After troubleshooting, rotate and pull out the emergency stop button to release the lock, and press
the "reset" button before restarting.
Note: do not press the emergency stop button during normal shutdown, please
press the stop button on the display screen.

3.8 preventive maintenance plan
