- Was a lawyer, and author of the Declaration of the Philippine Independence.
-Born on December 7, 1830 at Binan Laguna Captaincy General of the Philippines
-Created May-June1898 and Presented June 12, 1898 in the town of Cavite el Viejo Province
of Cavite.
CONTEXT ANALYSIS
- -THE DECLARATION OF PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE is the document in which Filipino
revolutionary forces under GENERAL EMILIO AGUINALDO (LATER TO BECOME THE
PHILIPPINE’ FIRST REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT.) Proclaimed the sovereignty and
independence of the Philippine islands from the colonial rule of Spain after the lattera
was defeated.
CONTENT ANALYSIS
- The declaration included a list of grievances against the Spanish government stretching
back to explorer Ferdinand Magellan's arrival in 1521 and "confer(s) upon our famous
Dictator Don Emilio Aguinaldo all the powers necessary to enable him to discharge the
duties of Government, including the prerogatives of granting.

which Culminated on JUNE 12 1898, was the first successful National Revolution in Asia since
the coming of the west and the Republic to which it gave birth was the first democratic
Republic outside of the western hemisphere. After being colonized by many Nations in the past
Centuries our Freedom is Priceless.
