2. Switch off the instrument and disconnect the


main power cord.

3. Open the fluidic door

Sampling 1. Pull on the top of the probe to remove it from

2. Pull on the rinsing head to remove it from the


sampling module.

3. Pull up the probe to remove it from the rinsing
head.

4. To replace the probe disconnect it from the


tubing # 9 (1) and remove it from the
instrument.

5. Replace the probe by following the reverse


instruction.

O-ring 6. To replace the O-ring of the rinsing head,


unscrew the probe guide and remove the
assembly probe/guide/O-ring from the rinsing
head.

Note: Be careful to not lose the plastic washer (2)


located under the O-ring inside the rinsing head.

7. Remove the O-ring from the probe and replace


it.

8. To replace the O-ring, insert first the probe


guide, then the O-ring on the probe, then the
plastic washer.

9. Install this assembly on the rinsing head and 2


screw back the probe guide.

10. Reinstall the complete assembly on the sampling


module

b. Rinsing head

Removal
Action Steps Reference

Prerequisite 1. Drain the instrument from any liquids.

2. Switch off the instrument and disconnect the


main power cord.

3. Open the fluidic door

Rinsing 4. Pull on the top of the probe to remove it from

Prerequisite 1. Switch off the instrument and disconnect the


main power cord.

2. Open the fluidic door

5. Remove all the cable ties (3) which maintain the


cable.

6. Remove the sensor and replace it following the 3

Prerequisite 1. Switch off the instrument and disconnect the


main power cord.

2. Remove the fluidic door.

3. Remove the top cover.

4. Remove the front cover.

5. Remove the reagent plate.

6. Remove the right plate of the reagent


compartment.

7. Remove the assembly probe/rinsing head from


the module.

8. Remove the Y sensor from the module.

Complete 9. Disconnect the elbow connector from tub#10.


Module

10. Remove the tubing tie (1) and remove tub #10
and #21 from the module.

11. Disconnect the Y motor connector (1).

12. Disconnect the X motor connector (2).

13. Remove the three screws from Left bearing 3


support (3).

14. Remove the two screws (4) which maintain the X


motor protection cover and remove it from the 4
motor.

15. With a torque tool, turn the X axis screw to


place the Y axis approximately at the middle of
the X axis screw.

16. Remove the two screws from right bearing


support (5).

17. Remove the two screws (6) which maintain the X


axis guide and remove it.

18. Remove the two screws (7) which maintain the


plastic square and remove it.

19. Rotate the complete module to pass the X axis


screw and the shaft on the fluidic side.

20. The X axis screw and the shaft must pass


through the “window”.

21. Once the screw and shaft have passed through


the “window”, continue to rotate the complete
module until to be able to pass the X axis motor
on the fluidic side.

Note: Top view.

22. Once the complete module is perpendicular to


the fluidic plate pull on it and remove it.

23. Replace the complete module respecting the


opposite instruction.

f. RBC Electrode

Removal
Action Steps Reference

Prerequisite 1. Drain the instrument from any liquids.

2. Switch off the instrument and disconnect the


main power cord.

3. Open the fluidic door

Electrode 4. Turn the electrode plastic holder from a quarter


RBC turn anticlockwise.
5. Pull on it and remove the RBC electrode
assembly from the RBC counting bath.

6. Remove the ground cable fixation screw (1) of

the RBC electrode.

7. Disconnect the RBC coaxial connector (2) from


the counting manifold and then remove the RBC
electrode from the instrument. 2

8. Replace the RBC electrode respecting the


reverse instruction.

g. RBC Counting Bath

Removal
Action Steps Reference

Prerequisite 1. Drain the instrument from any liquids.

2. Switch off the instrument and disconnect the


main power cord.

3. Open the fluidic door.

4. Remove the RBC electrode.

RBC 5. Release the maintaining screw (1) of the


Bath protection cover and remove it.

6. Remove the three remaining fixation screws (2)


of the RBC bath. 2 2

7. Pull on the RBC bath and remove it.

8. Replace the RBC bath following the reverse


instruction.

Note: Verify the presence of the O-ring (3) on the


red fitting before to perform the reassembling.

h. RBC Counting Head

Removal
Action Steps Reference

Prerequisite 1. Drain the instrument from any liquids.

2. Switch off the instrument and disconnect the


main power cord.

3. Open the fluidic door.

4. Remove the RBC electrode.

5. Remove the RBC counting bath.

RBC 6. Remove the two fixations screws (1) of the RBC


Counting counting head.

7. Remove the RBC counting head using pliers to


pull it if necessary.

8. Replace the RBC counting head following the


reverse instruction.

Note: Verify the presence of the O-ring (2) before to


perform to the reassembling.

Removal
Action Steps Reference

Prerequisite 9. Drain the instrument from any liquids.

10. Switch off the instrument and disconnect the


main power cord.

11. Open the fluidic door.

Electrode 12. Turn the electrode plastic holder from a quarter


WBC turn anticlockwise.
13. Pull on it and remove the RBC electrode
assembly from the RBC counting bath.

14. Remove the ground cable fixation screw (1) of


the RBC electrode. 1

15. Disconnect the RBC coaxial connector (2) from


the counting manifold and then remove the RBC
electrode from the instrument. 2

16. Replace the RBC electrode respecting the


reverse instruction.

j. WBC Counting Bath

Removal
Action Steps Reference

Prerequisite 9. Drain the instrument from any liquids.

10. Switch off the instrument and disconnect the


main power cord.

11. Open the fluidic door.

12. Remove the WBC electrode.

13. Remove the protection cover.

WBC 14. Disconnect the HGB cable connector (1).


Bath

15. Remove the three remaining screws (2) of the


WBC bath.

16. Pull on the WBC bath and remove it.

17. Replace the WBC bath following the reverse


instruction.

Note: Verify the presence of the O-ring (3) on the


red fitting before to perform the reassembling.

Removal

Prerequisite 1. Drain the instrument from any liquids.

2. Switch off the instrument and disconnect the


main power cord.

3. Open the fluidic door.

4. Remove the WBC electrode.

5. Remove the WBC counting bath.

WBC 6. Remove the two fixations screws (1) of the WBC

7. Remove the WBC counting head using pliers to


pull it if necessary.

Note: Verify the presence of the O-ring (2) before to

l. Counting Manifold

Removal
Action Steps Reference

Prerequisite 1. Drain the instrument from any liquids.

2. Switch off the instrument and disconnect the


main power cord.

3. Open the fluidic door.

4. Remove the complete equipped RBC bath.

5. Remove the complete equipped WBC counting


bath.

Counting 6. Remove the two nuts (1) which maintain the


Manifold RBC and WBC coaxial connectors on the
counting manifold. 1

7. Once the two nuts removed, push on the coaxial


connectors to remove them from the counting
manifold.

8. Remove the ground terminal fixation screw (2).

9. Disconnect tubings #1; 2A; 7; 17 and 26B from


the counting manifold.

10. Remove the three fixation screws (3) of the


counting manifold then, remove it. 3

11. Equip the new counting manifold with all
elements and reassemble it following the
reverse instruction.

Removal

Prerequisite 1. Drain the instrument from any liquids.

2. Switch off the instrument and disconnect the


main power cord.

3. Open the fluidic door.

Counting 4. Disconnect the valve connector.

5. Remove the two fixation screws (1) of the valve


solenoid.

Important notes:

Be careful to the mounting direction


of the valve body.
The “NC” inscription must be
oriented through the bottom.

remove the switch.

2. Remove the front cover.

3. Remove the reagent metallic plate.

Fluidic 4. Disconnect the fluidic door switch connector

door switch and remove it.

6. Replace the fluidic door switch following the 2


reverse instruction.

IMPORTANTE NPOTE: Re-place the new switch in


the same position than the previous one and verify
the operating in “Check sensor” screen opening and
closing the fluidic door.
