NTU BDC Registration Kit

COMPETITION FORMAT

NTU BDC 2022 is two-round technical case competition that


simulates the tendering process in the construction sector.

PRELIMINARY ROUND

1. In this round, participating teams are tasked to design a virtual bridge


model using a specified software. More details about the software will be
announced in due course.
2. The aim is to design a bridge that best meet the specifications stated in
the case file.
3. The top 15 teams from the Preliminary Round will proceed to the Final
Round.

FINAL ROUND
1. Similar to the Preliminary Round, participants are tasked to design a virtual
bridge model at a different site. Furthermore, teams will also need to
submit a technical proposal for their design.
2. A judging panel consisting of professors and industry experts will evaluate
and select the 5 teams for the final presentation, which will be held
virtually via Zoom.
3. Top 3 teams will be selected based on their overall performance in the
Final Round.

More details regarding the competition assessment criteria and


software will be released to registered participants.

Registration is free of charge!

Registration Details:
1. Only the team leader has to fill in the registration form.
2. Students of all nationalities are invited to participate in the competition.
3. Each team should consist of 2 to 3 participants.
4. Participants must submit a scanned copy of their student ID in one PDF
file during registration for verification purposes. Teams who fail to do so
will not be allowed to participate in the competition.

Registration period is from 24 Jan 2022 (Monday) to 25 Feb 2022 (Friday).


Late registrations will not be entertained.
