ACTIVITY #1 INFORMATION ASSOCIATION

1. What is MOOC?
The Massive Open Online Course, or MOOC, is an online course that offers open access via
the internet for free or at a low Many MOOCs is modeled after existing college or university
courses, but unlike these courses, most MOOCs do not count for college credit.

2. How was MOOC made Possible Today?


MOOC made possible by social networking facilitation of acknowledged expert in a field of

3. How is it different from taking a course from college and university?


The main difference between university and college is that a university offers graduate
programs leading to masters or doctoral degrees. Universities are generally larger than colleges
and offer a wider range of courses. For instance, Harvard College is the undergraduate liberal arts college
of Harvard University.

4. How is it changing or influencing education at present?


MOOC providers are investing in instructional design and development so as to improve the
efficacy and quality of the learning experience for learners, showcasing the difference design
can make to the quality of learning. By doing so, they are showing faculty and students what a
high quality course can look like.

2. Do you think smart bands can make communication among Filipino easier or faster?
Yes

3. Which gadgets do you think would benefit each of the following sectors the must fisher-folk,
agriculture, and women? Explain your answer.
For me it is the Smart phone because phone is really needed in the society today through the
phone you can easily sale a product or anything just post it in social media and wait who would
comment to buy it.
