The prevention of drug abuse is one of the many tasks that the government and our nation as a whole

seeks to combat. Some of the ways we can counteract this is by improving welfare programs for the
poor and providing more job opportunities for poor , this types of programs have proven to be more
effective against drug use and abuse as they will greatly lessen the family burdens and improve living
standards which are the two main causes of drug use and abuse in the youth.
