REFLECTION

What do you think is the positive impact of integrating literature in an English language teaching?

There are many positive impact of integrating literature in the English language teaching and
one of these is the cultural enrichment. Before in order for a person learn others culture and
language, they have to visit that country, stay there and use the language in their daily life
conversation for it to be mastered. But now, because of integrating literature in the English language
teaching, it become very easy for us to learn the life in the outside world by simply reading lots of
literary texts. Reading literary texts helps us to learn the way of living of other people, it helps us
learn their daily life behavior and get cultural information.
