1. What are Anxiety disorder/depression?

DEPRESSION is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. Also
called major depressive disorder or clinical depression, it affects how you feel, think and behave and
can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems. You may have trouble doing normal day to day
activities, and sometimes you may feel as if life isn't worth living. More than just about of the blues,
depression isn't a weakness and you can't simply snap out of it. Depression may require long term
treatment. But don't get discouraged. Most people with depression feel better with medication,
psychotherapy or both.

ANXIETY or fear and worry can happen to anyone from time to time too. It's non unusual to
experience before a big event or important decisions. But chronic anxiety can be debilitating and lead to
irrational thoughts and fears that interfer with your daily life.

2. Who gets anxiety disorder/ depression and how common are they?

Anxiety disorders most often start when people are teenagers. Anyone can get one, but they are more
common among women and girls. They are also more common in people who were neglected/abuse as
children, or who are neglected/abuse as adults.

Anxiety disorder are most common mental illness in US affecting 40 million adults in the United States
age 18 and older, or 18.1% of the population every year. Anxiety disorder are highly treatable yet onl
36.9% of those suffering receive treatment.

3. Describe some of the symptoms of anxiety disorder or depression.

Some symptoms of depression and anxiety overlap, such as problem with sleep, irritability, and difficulty
concentrating.

Physical symptoms and behavioral changes caused by generalized anxiety disorder include:

* feeling fatigue easily

* difficulty concentrating or recalling

* muscle tension

* racing heart

* grinding teeth

* sleep difficulties including problems falling asleep and restless, unsatisfying sleep.

Emotional symptoms of anxiety include:

* restlessness, irritability or feeling on edge.

* difficulty controlling worry or fear

* dread

* panic
4. List and briefly explain some of the main types of anxiety disorder/depression.

* Generalised anxiety disorder is characterized by excessive, uncontrollable, and unrealistic worry


about everything day things, such as health, family, friends, money, or career.

* Social phobia is a strong and persistent fear of social or performance situation. The person fears
they will be scrutinised and negatively judged by others.

* Panic disorder with and without agoraphobia prople with this disorder experience extreme panic
attacks in situations where most people would not be afraid.

* Obsessive compulsive disorder involves constant unwanted thoughts, and often result in the
performance of elaborate rituals in an attempt to control or banish the persistent thoughts.

* Post traumatic stress disorder people who have experience major trauma, such as war, torture,
vehicle accident, fire or personal violence can continue to feel terror long after the event is over. Nor
everyone who experience trauma develops post traumatic stress disorder( PTSD).

5. What type of treatment is available for people experiencing anxiety disorder/depression?

There are many types of therapy available. Three of the more common methods used in
depression treatment include cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and psychodynamic
therapy. Often, a blended approach is used.

6.What other kinds of support can help a person with anxiety disorder/depression?

TIPS

 Allow yourself to feel what you're feeling- and know that it's not your fault.
 Do something that you have control over, like making your bed or taking out the trash.
 You could also create a morning, evening, or Even daily routine.
 Do your best to stick to sleep schedule.
 Try to eat something nutritious like an apple or some nuts, at least once a day.
 If you're up for it, go for a walk arounkud the block.
 Do something that you know brings you comfort such as watching a favorite movie flipping
through a magazine.
 If you haven't left the house in a while, consider doing something you find soothin, like getting
your nails done or getting a massage.
 Reach out someone you're comfortable talking to and talk about whatever you feel lije, whether thats
how you're feeling or something you saw on Twitter.

ang mga mag aaral na wag matakot O mahiya na mag salita sa
unahan at makisalamuha sa ibang estudyante.
3. Mag patupad ng Anti bullying para masiguro na walang mga
estudyanteng naaagrabyado.
4. Mag patupad ng clean and green project para mas lalong
maging Malinis ang eskwelahan.
5. Mag patupad ng no students at canteen when class hour
project.
6. Mag patupad ng no late policy at in uniform policy para mas
lalong mahasa ang disiplina ng mga estudyante.
