What is Customer Service?


Customer Service is the assistance and advice provided by a company
to those people who buy or use its products or services. It’s usually
happen during and after a purchase. Customer service is a criteria
factor in ensuring buyer satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
They help to gain higher profit from sold products.

Importance of Customer Service


Customer Service shouldn’t just be a department. It should be the
entire company. There several points why customer service matters:
 Improved customer satisfaction and loyalty
 Turn one-time customers into repeat customers
 Turns disengaged customers into loyal followers
 Make it easy for customers to travel along the customer journey
 Serves as a competitive differentiator
 Portrays a positive brand image and reputation
By providing a good customer service, we will gain customer’s trust.
Most of the organizations prove that an increase in revenue because
of an excellent customer service. When customers fell that they are
being respected, buyers will pay more for better customer experience
based on how they feel they are treated. Based on the research, 70%
of customers will do business again with the company that resolves
their complaint. Customers are the most important people to any
organization. There would be no business if without customers
because they can choose to go anywhere else. Good customer service
is quickly becoming the deciding factor among customers. Therefore,
devote time to providing better customer service to grow your
business.

Tesla - Meet your customers where they’re at:
Tesla literally meets customers where they’re at by going to
customer’s home and fixing issues on their car. It’s convenient for
the customer because they don’t have to sit around a repair shop and
it can be scheduled on their own time. This is excellent customer
service. While you can’t always physically meet customers where
they’re at, there are multiple customer support options to allow
customers to contact you in the way that’s most convenient for them.
Customers value time and convenience, and as evidenced by Tesla’s
high prices, will even pay more for it.

Observation of Customer Service Over Years


It takes months to find a customer nut seconds to lose one.
Nowadays, customer service become a basic but important
requirement for every service industry. Every organization has
started improving their customer service since they know how
important it is. Not saying customers are always right, but remember,
customer is the reason why people have a job.
