1. Brief description of duties : For ensuring the better enforcement of Labour laws
(a) Conducting inspections in various establishments’
permanent and temporary nature in organized and
unorganized sectors under various labour laws.
(b) Conducting verification of Compliance reports of
Employers.
(c) Filing and attending prosecution cases, filing claim
cases & attending claim cases.
(d) Providing information to workers employers and
common people regarding the various provisions of
labour laws and thus facilitating them to know
t5heir rights and duties.
(e) Liaison meeting with different authorities for
effective enforcement of labour laws.
(f) Participating in Trade Union membership
verification.
(g) Collecting and furnishing the data information for
various Quarterly ,Half yearly and annual return,
Parliamentary Questions, RTI matters and other
queries to the reporting Authorities.
(h) Taking necessary steps for disposal of individual
complaints.

There is no shortfall as inspections at present are assigned through ShramSuvidha Portal and I
had conducted the inspections of the assigned establishments during the period of assessment.

(B) Please also indicate items in which there have been significantly higher achievements and your
contribution thereto.

Total 11 Claim cases filed and conducted successfully before the Authority under Minimum
Wages Act 1936 and Payment of Wages Act 1936during the period of assessment
amounting toRs.319,403,928 in respect of 2168 workers. Also disposed 13 Individual
complaints and relief provided to workers by disbursement of total amount of Rs.8,34,788
to the27 complainant workers by their employers.

4.Please state whether the annual return on immovable property for the precedingcalendar
year was field within the prescribed date i.e. 31 st jan of the yearfollowing the calendar
