Yes sir, we've come to realize that the topic we've chosen for this thesis is obsolete, and we need your permission to be able to change it.
PROFESSOR (2nd line)
You do understand that time is running out, right?
CHARACTER A (1st line)
Yes sir, we do. But the two of us agreed that we are willing to take that risk.
PROFESSOR (3rd line)
I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to say no. Firstly, because you are running out of time. Secondly, instead of telling me that your topic is obsolete, you could have taken this time to MAKE your topic relevant.
CHARACTER C (3rd line)
But sir, we -- (interrupted) PROFESSOR (4th line) No! You will find a way to make this work. It's that or you will risk failure. Do I have myself clear?
CHARACTER A (2nd line)
Yes, sir.
PROFESSOR (5th line)
