Managing backups & archiving Logs for various types of recovery techniques

Checking and verifying the errors in db2diag.Log

Experience in using DB2 Maintenance Utilities (Reorgchk/Reorgs/Runstats)

Table Space Management - Adding, dropping, extending, reducing and resizing table space containers

Handling table space and file systems space issues, Extending Table space.

Extensively used db2 data move utilities like export, import and load

Sql Tuning using db2batch, db2advisor, db2explain

Granting / revoking various authorizations to different Users/Groups

Administration of Database Objects such as tables, indexes, stored procedures, functions, views

Database health checking as per the security standards

Experience on Version upgrade and apply latest fixpack.

Performing redirect restore between different servers.

Creation and Administration of Instances, Databases, Bufferpools and Tablespace.
