1. Explain what Multilingual society is. And, list 3 examples of


multilingual societies.

Explanation: As for me multilingual society is a community or country


that have different language spoken. Individuals in the multilingual
society may have varying fluency in the languages of the region, and use
different languages in different spheres of their lives.
Example: India, South Africa and Switzerland,

2. Choose a correct word from the given choices and fill in the blank.
(Regional language policy, One language policy)
 __Regional language policy_is the policy that lets the inherent
language of the area be spoken by people.
 __One language policy__ is the policy that lets one particular language
be spoken by the people of whole country.

3. These are the choices of the language that can be adopted as the
language of the country. Explain one by one.

• Global Languages
>Global language is the official language that widely use by different
people and countries to communicate to one another and to go with the
globalization.

• National or regional Languages


>It is a variant of language that is officially use to the country’s sovereign
state.

• Dialects,
> Languages use by different group of people in one country and
symbolizes of their ethnic identity or language which has different
pronunciation, grammar or vocabulary than the standard language
of the culture.

• Creoles
>The native or natural speaker is the one that has a mixture of two or
more different languages.
