Additional Activities
1.Here are some examples innovations and advancements in ICT that
involves changes in communication:
 Social Media - ICT promotes responsible and right way to use social
media sites and applications. The conversation in various social
media sites and apps help people to converse faster. They can send
messages and posts with files and images, real-time. Before,
communication happens through letters and emails, which can be
answered late.
 Collaborative tools - employees and stakeholders can communicate
and continue with their work even they are at the comfort of their
homes. Thru various collaborative tools, employees can still be
monitored and finished their assigned works while other are
working on the same file. The file is being uploaded and shared
online. Users can see and access on it as long as they have the right
access credentials for it.
 Faster conversation and replies between customers and company.
For businesses, the provision of emails and conversational AI
technologies is helpful. Conversational AI, refers to a new trend in
AI world that software and devices can converse with the users like
a real person. A big example of this is auto-generated replies in
emails and bots. This is helpful in customer service area of a
company.
2. Multimedia is an effective way of communicating because it makes it
simple to communicate and interpret what others are saying. Then
there's multimedia, which includes animation, music, video, and more.
3. During this pandemic, all schools, offices, and the whole country
were closed in lockdown. This affected many things, such as the
economy, children's studies, and many more. As I began my online
classes, I believed that only technology could help us grow. The benefit
of multimedia learning is that it takes advantage of the brain's ability to
make connections between verbal and visual representations of
content, leading to a deeper understanding, which in turn supports the
transfer of learning to other situations.
