You have obtained a work experience post at a local small


business who make bespoke racing bicycles and currently
make limited use of IT. The owners are aware that they
may be able to use IT to improve the business efficiency

you evaluate how technology can be used to support an

Your presentation needs to cover the following:

processes which can be found in a typical
organisation and how these support a company’s
needs
 an explanation of how businesses can use technology
to support their business processes and an analysis
Task 1 of the impact that business processes and
technology can have on an organisation
The director has also asked you to include in the
presentation an evaluation of how effective various
technologies can be in improving business processes and
meeting an organisation’s needs. Your presentation should
include some real life examples of how technology has
