TASK 1

1. Scientific notation

Scientific notation is scientific writing expressed in , with and n integers. Writing using
scientific notation or standard form: Scientific notation of large numbers is expressed a × 10ⁿ
with 1 a 10, n is a positive integer

2. Algebraic form

The algebraic form is a mathematical form which in its presentation contains letters to
represent unknown numbers. Algebraic forms can be used to solve problems in everyday life.
Unknown things such as the amount of fuel a bus needs per week, the distance traveled in a
given time, or the amount of fodder needed in 3 days, can be found using algebra.

3. Whole Number

Whole numbers are the set of non-negative integers or the set of natural numbers plus 0.
Whole numbers are always not negative. Whole numbers are identified in the numbers that
make up the set.

4. Even number

An even number is a natural number that is a multiple of 2 or is divisible by 2. Examples


of positive even numbers are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, and so on.

5. Odd numbers

Odd numbers are natural numbers that are not multiples of 2 and are not divisible by 2.
Examples of positive odd numbers are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, and so on.
