Yosuga no Sora Installation Guide

To install and play Yosuga no Sora or Haruka na Sora a few things have to be done:

A. Add additional Japanese system fonts to windows.


B. Change your windows locale to Japan.
C. Install the game and English patch. (Yosuga no Sora)
D. Install the game and English patch. (Haruka na Sora)

Additional Fonts - We will install additional fonts into windows 11 from Microsoft's servers.

Step 1 - Press the windows key and type "Settings".


Step 2 - On the sidebar click Time & Language.

Step 3 - Then click Language & region.


Step 4 - Then click the Add a language button.

Step 5 – A menu should pop-up, type “Japanese” into the search box, select the language and click next.
Location Change - This can be done by changing your locale in the windows settings.

Step 1 - Press the windows key and type "Control Panel".


Step 2 - Click the section titled "Clock and Region".

Step 3 - Click the section titled "Region".


Step 4 - A new menu will pop-up in the top menu bar click the section that says "Administrative".
Step 5 - A new section will be displayed, under the section "Language for non-Unicode programs" click
to change the system locale (it will ask for administrative permissions).
Step 6 - Change the current system locale to Japanese (Japan), click ok and close out of all menus.

Note: DO NOT TICK the "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support" box.
Game and Patch Installation (Yosuga no Sora)

Step 1 - Extract the files from the DVD-ROM to the desktop.

Step 2 - Open the folder that contains the game and double click on the "setup.exe" file and run through
the installer but pressing the go right (N) button.
Step 3 - After the game is install apply the English patch by navigating to the install folder, normally
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Sphere\ヨスガノソラ\system” and replacing the "yosuga.csx" file with the
patched one.

Step 4 - Move up to the main folder of the game and then double click the file "yosuga.exe" in order to
launch the game.
Game and Patch Installation (Haruka na Sora)

Step 1 - Extract the files from the DVD-ROM to the desktop.

Step 2 - Open the folder that contains the game and double click on the "setup.exe" file and run through
the installer but pressing the go right (N) button.
Step 3 - After the game is install apply the English patch by navigating to the install folder, normally
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Sphere\ハルカナソラ\system” and replacing the "Haruka.csx" file with the
patched one.

Step 4 - Move up to the main folder of the game and then double click the file "haruka.exe" in order to
launch the game.
Additional Note: The save folders for the games can be found at
"C:\Users\MrWicked\AppData\Roaming\Sphere "

“Yosuga” is the save folder for Yosuga no Sora and “haruka” is the save folder for Haruka na Sora, be
sure to backup these files when necessary.
