EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

NutriFast is a restaurant and a meal planning company that offers quality nutrition

meals. We took inspiration from office workers working full time but going home

stressed and not being able to cook nutritious foods anymore. This is why we wanted to

provide service to the people with nutrition that provides them all the needed vitamins

and minerals that can give people the right amount of energy they need, hassle-free.

Consuming healthy food can improve your energy levels, brain power, increase your

ability to concentrate and handle stress, and enhance your overall sense of well-being.

Planning the meals beforehand will ensure a more balanced menu thus giving the workers

the nutrition needed for work. Our goal is to provide good health for the people and a

well planned meal that can give a valuable boost to anybody’s success.

Mainly focuses on 3 things : Satisfying taste, Convenience, and Nutrition Value.

We assure you that our product can cause no harm to the environment for it can only give

the proper meal for our proper diet, which is why we made this type of business for it will

not just benefit our company, it will also improve every individual’s health.

Our company has an app which is available on both ios and android devices and

from there, you can order food and let us plan your meals, track where the nearest branch

of our restaurant is from you, read nutritional facts, and see the amount of calories and

the nutrition content on every meal that you have eaten. Just a few clicks and your food

will be ready in no time.

With the help of our professional nutritionists, we would be able to provide our

customers with foods that could help them reach their goals without hassle.As for the

price, NutriFast may or may not have the same price with our competitors’ products in

the market, but the quality of our product and service alone, compensates for it.

Our customers can choose to either pick up their food from our specific branches or they

would have it delivered to their respective homes. We also have an option in which you

could ask us to prepare you food that is good for a week or less. Our restaurant operates 7

am – 10 pm daily, from Mondays – Fridays, while our online delivery and meal planning

services are available 24/7. NutriFast gets its raw ingredients and maintains its quality

food and service by choosimg trusted and reputable farming companies. Our staffs and

employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge, and the customer care that any

company could ever wish for, and our restaurant is equipped with the most advanced

kitchen appliances found in most Filipino restaurants.

In NutriFast, one eats and leaves the restaurant with a smile on their face, and the

nutrition that keeps them healthy that satisfies their day.

A.  GENERAL BUSINESS PLAN

Business Review

This Food industry provides good health for the people and a well planned meal

that can help us offer certain products to the market. It allows any type of person to eat a

nutritious and well-balanced diet that can provide a valuable boost to anybody’s success.

Consuming healthy food can improve your energy levels, brain power, increase your

ability to concentrate and handle stress, and enhance your overall sense of well-being.

Planning the meals beforehand will ensure a more balanced menu thus giving the workers

the nutrition needed for work. These can help us lead and create our products and

services to offer to the markets. Our product is an improvement of an existing one

because it not only provides meals but it also includes nutrients that can benefit workers

and has a balanced menu. Our current business situation is both internal and external

because it will have a company of workers that is diverse and will have different ideas

that may benefit to our company.

PESTLE ANALYSIS

Political:

Several governments take careful initiatives to improve health of the people

where they even require food companies to indicate the nutritional factors for each meal

the requirements resulting from establishment of any political alliances.

Economic:

The economic crisis in the Philippines brought changes in the economy as the

decrease in consumer demand and revenues and sales. The higher inflation rate in the

country disabled many families to afford fastfood products and they preferto eat at home.

Research even says that the Philippine’s annual inflation rate rose to 6.4 percent in

August of 2018 from 5.7 percent in the previous month, above market estimates of 5.9

percent. ( tradingeconomics.com). Due to higher inflation rate, it would be harder for us

to get ingredients with a cheaper price without sacrificing the quality of our products.

Social:

Before entering into any new region, our company carries out careful analysis of

the culture, religion, and social values. We will launch various marketing campaigns

highlighting the healthy meal options at low cost, in response to the widespread poverty

among Filipinos and most Asians, with increasing awareness among people. Before we

enter new regions, we make sure to adjust our ingredients based on the climate of the

region we are entering. When we enter a cold climate region, we would adjust some of

our ingredients which is hard to find in that region to avoid any problems once we enter

the region; same as when we enter a region with a hot climate, all because of the

unpredictability that our weather patterns and climate have become nowadays.

Technological:

Since technology is transforming the business like a force of nature, we are

making our services more convenient and accessible online, and we will centralize our

express delivery service through certain Telecommunication companies. We will not also

be behind the norm among restaurants; customers already are signing credit card bills

with their fingers on touchscreen gadgets and using apps to order at fast-food restaurants,

and they are using high-technology kitchen appliances so we are to follow these new

innovations.

Legal :

We also consider legal factors because legal regulations regarding the franchising

and copyrights in any state must be adhered to carry out a successful business operation.

We are a corporation, so the structure establishes the restaurant as a separate legal entity,

and we don't have the personal liability, but this structure is more expensive and

complex, and NutriFast is then obliged to follow the Corporation Code of the Philippines.

Our company has to hire Nutritionists and Dietitians, so we have to be mindful in

choosing authentic people to do this job and complythe standards of the National Food

Authority (NFA), for our products are food.

Environmental :

Fast good restaurants are far from the green environmental approach. Huge

carbon emissions are involved in the entire process of fast food manufacturing. NutriFast

is therefore required to take part in several environmental and energy efficient initiatives.

Company Profile

This company is called “NutriFast”, it provides a number of dishes and is

consistent and fair to any customer that enters one of our stores. Business owners wanted

to provide service to the people with nutrition that provides them all the needed vitamins

and minerals that can give people the right amount of energy they need. This can help

out our company to gain income through its good service and good food it has to offer.

The company will have some situations where costumers will complain about the

repetitiveness of our meal planning and high prices and etc. This can have our company

improve on those particular problems as time goes by. The company will make progress

that can interest other competitors to rise and possibly outgrow our company but will

still have to go through a long process before that can happen. In this corporation, we

will have enough stock to provide and serve in the market.

The simplicity of our company’s logo represents our vision. Our vision is simple

and straightforward, just like our logo. The wheat on the logo symbolizes the necessity of

something like how rice is a necessity for every Asian country. The 2 dots represent

balance; how we should balance our meals with the right fraction of macros that we

need in our body(carbohydrates, fats and proteins). The intersecting spoon and fork

means we have to stop “just eating”, and to start eating intelligently.

NutriFast took inspiration from office workers working full time but going home

stressed and not being able to cook nutritious foods anymore. We believe that we can

help people manage their own health with the use of meal planning and at the same time

making profits out of it. Our company started with an intention of being the best food

chain in the food industry. When we started to operate our business, it became harder for

us to compete with the big companies like Jollibee,Mcdonalds, Yellow Cab, etc., so we

decided to change and asked ourselves what we can do to set us apart from our

competitors. After months of trying to answer that question, we decided to produce

highly nutritious meals that doesn't sacrifice the satisfaction you get from eating fast food

meals. We wanted to produce something that is different from other products, thus we

also noticed that people are not having enough time to make their own meal. That’s why

we developed an easy way to eat their meal without having to spend a lot of time cooking

for themselves. Through hard work and dedication, NutriFastbegan building its brand

around the idea of delicious and healthy meals.Our focus was to encourage people that

health is wealth, without the proper meal, their body might not get the exact nutrition

that each of our body needs. Our product can cause no harm to the environment for it

like many restaurants we see that prepares semi-ready foods only to be heated up and

B.  PRODUCT PLAN

Our product mainly focuses on 2 things : taste and nutrition, our product depends

on what our consumers need. For example, an obese man wants to lose weight and gain

muscle,so in this case, we would provide him with a meal that has low carbohydrates but

high in protein because protein is an essential nutrient in building muscle mass. Our

product helps people with busy life and people who wants to start living a healthy

lifestyle because they don’t need to plan and search anything up online since we provide

them with the best option possible based on the survey they answered in our app. Our

product differs from one person to another, because we adjust our product depending on

the essential nutrients needed by their different bodies.

C.  MARKETING PLAN

Target Market

NutriFast is a service for everyone, but our target demographics are 3 types of

people. First, are college students and young adults. Since they live with a fast paced life,

there is little to no time to think about what to make for dinner, let alone buy groceries.

Second, are parents.With endless everyday to do list, parents can be overwhelmed when

planning a meal everyday. Third, are working professionals,because, like college

students, they are often busy and even more overwhelmed than parents with preparing

food and the kind of life they are living. Our target demographics are usually aged

between 20 to 50, with no one to help them with their busy life. They prefer "real" foods

over fastfoods to keep their lifestyle as healthy as possible.

Product Strategies

NutriFast’s product and services offer a meal fit for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Each of the meal will be intended for what the exact nutrients that our customer’s body

needs. As a strategy, NutriFast will be hiring the best Nutritionists and Dietitians to help

us provide and plan the best meals for our target market. As for the packaging, we will

provide the market with the new and unique set of packaging. Its design will be carefully

planned out; this includes choosing the right colors that will attract adults, which are

most of our target customers. In accordance to the colors used in our logo, we will have

green, black, and white for the packaging, and have it designed to look simple but classy.

We won’t just have the typical plastic and paper pack for it, instead, we would love to

use recyclable ones in order for us to help save our environent and still be able to rock

the market.

Pricing Strategies

Pricing can be a little difficult because of how the price of some ingredients have

been very high recently.The pricing strategy that we have followed is the bundle pricing

strategy. With bundle pricing, businesses sell multiple products for a lower rate than

consumers would face if they purchased each item individually. Not only is bundling

goods an effective way of moving unsold items that are taking up space in our facility,

but it can also increase the value perception in the eyes of our customers, since we’re

essentially giving them something for free. We chose the best yet most affordable price

possible for a set of meal and in that, we can easily and privately message our customers

through our app in order for them to know how and what nutrients they’ll take in eating

the meal. We based the pricing on how we can balance everything starting from thecost

of the ingredients, the meal planning services made, and of course for the packaging that

we have used. NutriFast may or may not have the same price with our competitors’

products in the market, but the quality of our product and service alone, compensates for

it and will definitely give us a huge edge against our competitors.

Place / Distribution Strategies

NutriFast will surely never disappoint you because our meals are absolutely tasty

and will really satisfy the customer's cravings.Our company is located at IT Park, Cebu

where our customers can buy and can easily track where since we have an app that tells

where the nearest branch is from you. NutriFast has different branches in Cebu City and

all throughout the Philippines. We also have food delivery service that is available online

to provide easy accessibility and convenience to our customers. Our buyers can purchase

our goods through our app or by visiting our physical stores. Advertisementscan also be

seen through our online pages like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Twitter. Creating

Youtube videos is also our thing for our product and having facebook ads to attract more

customers.

E.  OPERATING PLAN

In our physical store, our operating/ business hours wil begin at 7 am and will

end at 9 pm in the evening. We will be serving from Mondays-Fridays. While in our app,

a GPS will be provided so that our customers can locate the nearest branch available,

and they can immediately order and get their food delivered. The customers can even

check the amount of calories and nutrition content of each meal they choose. The

NutriFast app and our delivery services will be serving our customers 24/7. NutriFast

gets its raw ingredients from our different partnered companies which helps in cutting up

the cost of the product because we order those ingredients directly from their farms and

warehouses. We maintain our quality by choosimg trusted and reputable farming

companies.

NutriFast’s kitchens are composed of four sections. The cleaning and washing

section, which includes appliances and cleaning tools like sinks, warewashing machines,

and drying racks. The storage area which is used to store raw ingredients. There are two

types of storage areas in NutriFast’s kitchen, the cold storage and the dry storage. The

food preparation area has sinks for washing raw ingredients, cutting areas, and mixing

areas. The meal cooking area is where main dishes are finished, so here you will have

large pieces of equipment like ranges, ovens, and fryers. Like the food preparation area,

the meal cooking area can be broken down into smaller sections like a baking station,

grilling station, and frying station.

The main location of our business is at the IT Park, Cebu. Other branches are

located around Philippines including Mandaue City, Davao; Metro Manila;and Cagayan

de Oro.
