- Good afternoon. Hello. My name is Jenny Cooke and this is my colleague, Jill Budgie. And your
names are?

My name is Mirna Michel

- Can i have your mark sheets, please?

-Where are you from, mirna?

I am from Salamanca, from a community called Cerro Gordo. I like to live here because it is quiet
and I am completely surrounded by my family.

-First, we'd like to know something about you. Mirna. How do you like to spend your evenings?

In Cerro Gordo I like to ride a bike with my dog and go buy cake

-And, mirna, tell us about a festival or celebration in cerro gordo

On December 8 there is a party in Cerro Gordo they celebrate La Inmaculada there are many food
stalls, flowers, paintings, dishes, of everything a little and the next day in the morning they do an
auction of dishes and covers there are also mechanical games and a band playing , the party lasts 3
days and days before they walk through different streets with the virgin and distribute food I like
to see people gathered and happy but I don't like those parties because they make a lot of noise
for like two weeks and my dogs get scared

-Mirna, do you use the internet much?

Yes, I am on the internet all the time, I listen to music, I read comics, I watch movies and series, I
do homework, I have virtual classes, I chat on Instagram and I waste my time on Pinterest.

-Mirna, tell us about a film you really like.

I like animated movies, disney makes excellent animations, I really liked the animations of frozen,
the audio, the image, everything is so incredible, my favorite movie is frozen 2.

-In this part of the test, I am going to give each of you two photographs. I'd like you to talk about
your photos on your own for about a minute and also answer a short question about your
partner's photos. Mirna, it's your turn first. Here are his photographs. They show people who
are helping other people in different situations. I would like you to compare the photos and say
how important it is to help people in these situations. it's fine. It's fine?
Yes. In the first photo, I see a sportsman, a soccer player, and someone, I think he has a cramp or
something, and someone helps him. In the second photo, there is a policeman. I think the lady
asks for the address because she is confused in the city. She is new or a tourist. I think they are
both very important people because one of them is, in the first photo, in pain. In the second
image, she also needs help. So, I think they are both very important people for people in every
situation. I think I would rather help people who do some sport because I like sports. And it is very
interesting to see other people.

-Mirna, do you find it easy to ask for help when you have problem?

No, I'm shy but if I really need help I will

-Now, Mirna, here are your photographs. They show people spending time in different gardens. I
would like you to compare the photographs and say what you think people are enjoying
spending time in these gardens. it's fine. It's fine?

Well, in the first photo, I see a girl, a girl in a garden with, I think, some special plants there, they
take special care of them. In the second, I create large gardens where people can go for a picnic or
spend time with the family, a time of relaxation. I think, in both cases, everyone enjoys things. In
the first one I think that girl likes to make these plants in maybe her garden. Maybe she's going to
eat them. In the second, they like to spend time in the air, the outdoors or maybe free stuff is
good. They are both enjoying each other.

-Mirna, which garden would you prefer to spend time in?

I think that in the garden where people are relaxed I think that my dogs would love to play there.

-Now, I'd like you to talk about something together for about two minutes. I would like you to
imagine that a town wants more tourists to visit it. Here are some ideas they are thinking of and
a question for you to discuss. First, you have some time to look at the task. Now talk to each
other about why these ideas would attract more tourists to the city.
building a big nightclub is excellent because it attracts the majority of young people who like to
party, it's a happy, noisy place and with a lot of people it's great.

Putting security cameras is also excellent, it is a way to assure people that there is evidence of
everything that happens and we will be alert if something bad happens, we care about their
safety.

Having more stores is a brilliant idea since in the stores you can get anything you need and even
take something to remember and share it with your family and friends.

Building vacation flats is also a great idea so that there is variety and people are entertained and
want to come back for their varied activities that they did in a single trip.

Providing parks is an excellent idea for them to relax and calm down breathing clean air living with
their family distractions so that children and dogs also feel calm and safe.

-Now, you have about a minute to decide which idea would be the best for the city.

I think that all the ideas are incredible since people have different tastes and each one can settle in
the area that they prefer the most, but the idea that I like the most is to promote parks, a quiet
city either to meditate or do something exercise and with some area for smokers since many
people also love to smoke quietly outdoors, relax.

-Mirna, do you think you have to spend a lot of money to have a good holiday?

Yes, I think that's what vacations are for to spend, to buy everything you want, be it food, dessert,
a souvenir, a ticket to some place to have fun.

- Mirna, some people say we travel too much these days and shouldn´t go on so many holidays.
What do you think?

I think that it doesn't matter what people say if you have money, desire and time you have
everything to go on vacation as long as you want

- Do you think people have enough time for holidays these days?

No, people today to have an incredible vacation they need to work a long time, taxes and high
food prices and all that is needed to survive day to day in Mexico is fatigue, with a minimum wage
in a Every week that money flies by, so the one who organizes himself well and has enough time to
have a good vacation is very lucky.

- Why do you think people like to go away on holiday?

Because they give themselves a break whether their daily lives bore them or because they believe
they need them to maintain their mental health, also to spend good time with family or friends,
and also to make their effort count, as a reward for so much work.

- What can people do to have a good holiday in cerro gordo?

take a walk through the countryside, watch the sunrise over the fields, dance with the band on
December 8, get drunk in the garden, smoke on the hill and dine on tacos in front of the temple.
