Steps for Online document verification and interview

1. Separate link will be sent for Online document verification and Interview.
2. Document verification will be conducted through Microsoft Teams and Interview will
be conducted through CISCO Webex.
3. Online Document verification will be conducted one day before your date of
interview. Only one link will be sent for online document verification. For interview,
multiple Links may be shared (maximum three) with the candidates depending upon
their shortlisted posts (explained in para 19 & 20). The links will be shared one day
prior to the date of Document verification and date of Interview.
e.g. if the interview date is 22/02/2022, then, document verification date will be
21/02/2022.Link for document verification will be shared on 20/02/2022(by
evening) and on 21/02/2022(by evening) for interview. Likewise for other date of
interviews.
4. We are sending link on both the mails – mail provided during GATE 2020 form
filling and alternate mail provided. Kindly check your both the mails
5. Such candidates who will found eligible for interview after document verification will
be shared link for interview.
6. Kindly make yourself available for 02 days – one day for document verification and
second day for interview.
7. Join links preferably through either desktop or laptop.
A. Online Document Verification
8. Receive links from Corporate Recruitment in registered email id (both) – mail id used
in GATE and alternate mail id filled during online application.

9. Get notification on Whatsapp that you have been added in the Group – ONGC GT V -
1 21/02/2022 or ONGC Document Verification ONGC GT V-2 21/02/2022 or ONGC
GT V-3 21/02/2022.
10. Schedule will be shared with the link. Follow the schedule strictly.
11. Kindly keep with you all the original documents while verification of your documents.
Also keep a soft copy with you for all original documents. In case any soft copy is
required by ONGC Team, you can send mail instantly. Be ready with the original
documents in the following order:
 Identity proof (the proof which you have uploaded)
 10th certificate for DOB proof
 Qualifications Marksheet and degree
 Conversion Certificate (CGPA to percentage)
  Higher Qualification (only Ph.D.), if applicable
 GATE score card
 Latest Caste / EWS Certificate, if applicable
 OBC Declaration Form, if applicable
 Latest PwBD certificate, if applicable
 NOC certificate, if applicable

ONGC verification team will ask you to show documents one by one.

OBC declaration form is available in the website. All the candidates under OBC
category should fill it, sign it, scan it and submit to the ONGC team through mail
while verification of documents (mail id: [email protected]). During the
verification, if there is any requirement of undertakings from your side due to old
caste certificate/ PwBD certificate/ change in name etc. you have to submit the same
within the time mentioned in the verification sheet or as told by the verifier.

12. Open the link for Document Verification on getting notification on Whatsapp Group.
Required platform is Microsoft Teams.

Enter your First Name_ONGCRegistration number

e.g. if your name is Saurabh Sharma and your ONGC registration number is 202100001,
then, enter name as Saurabh_202100001

Then press “Join Now”. The following screen will appear:

 Open your audio and video.
16. When verifier will admit you, the following screen appear.

17. Complete the document verification as instructed by Verifier. If you will clear the
document verification process, in the evening / night you will receive link for
interview to be conducted on next day. Kindly keep on checking the link in your mail.

B. Online conduct of interview

18. Interview will be conducted through CISCO Webex platform.

19. There are three Selection Boards for different posts as given below :

A candidate may have to attend interviews in maximum three Boards based on the
shortlisted Posts. In that case , He/She will receive three different links for interviews
and interview in all the selection Boards will be done on the same day. He/She will
be part of maximum three whatsapp group – First whatsapp group in which you
were already a member but name will be chaged as ONGC INT B1 – (Date of
Interview) or ONGC INT B2 – (Date of Interview) or ONGC INT B3 – (Date of
Interview). Further, you will also be part of another two groups based on the posts.

Let us take an example:

If a candidate has been shortlisted for AEE(Production) – Chemical, AEE(Reservoir)
and MMO, then, he /she has to attend interviews in three different boards. If a
 candidate has been shortlisted for AEE(Production) – Mechanical and Transport
Officer, he / she has to attend interviews in two boards. Separate links will be sent
to the candidate against each Board.

20. Interview order will be sent in the same mail as mentioned in para 4. First 05
candidates should ready at 10:00 AM. Click on the link as per the serial number of
the list and wait in the lobby and, then, afterwards as per the instructions in
whatsapp group. Kindly follow the instructions as coming in the whatsapp group.
Candidates who will be interviewed in multiple groups, after completing one
interview, join the next interview link for that particular board and wait in the
lobby.
As the interviews of GATE 2020 is starting from 22/02/2022, there may be a delay
in starting of interviews on this day. Don’t panic. Wait for the instructions in
whatsapp group.

21. Click link to join the meeting.

22. The following screen will appear, click Join from your Browser.
1. Enter your name and email id:

ONGC registration number is 202100001, then,
enter name as Saurabh_202100001

2. Click allow to use your microphone and camera and then click Join Meeting.

3. You will get the message indicated in the following screen. The administrator can
view that you are in lobby and he/she will admit you whenever your turn for
interview comes. The waiting time in digital lobby may vary from 15 minutes to 30
minutes or may be more, so be there in the lobby as per the following screen. Don’t
disconnect or panic.
4. When administrator will admit you for interview, the following screen will appear:

5. When your interview will be completed, the administrator will remove you from
the meeting.
