USE OF ENGLISH (80 POINTS)

SUBJECT 1. 10 points
Percy, the pirate, has a big ship called ‘Storm of the Seven Seas’. He attacks other ships and
captures them. He takes all their money, gold and silver which they have on board. Quickly he sails
away and nobody can catch him and his crew. He gets more and more money and jewels and
diamonds.
So he has to find a place where he can hide his big treasure. He is sailing across the seas for
days and weeks to find a good hiding place. One day, he sees an island. It is grey and there are lots
of rocks. When he comes nearer, he thinks there are no people and no animals. He says „This is a
good hiding place for my treasure”. He gets off the ship with his crew and carries the bags onto the
land. They walk up a path and pass a very old tree. Then they turn left. After a few minutes they
come to a small river and cross it. They climb up a hill. Suddenly they see a small cave. They put all
the bags in there. Percy thinks that it is the best hiding place for his treasure. Then they go back to
their ship.
On their way back home they get into a very bad storm. All the other pirates die in the sea.
Percy survives and saves his treasure map.
But now Percy is too old to go back to his treasure and get it. He still has got his treasure
map. Who will find Percy’s treasure one day?...
