To whomsoever it may concern

This is to certify that Ms. Snigdha Rohilla, student of Symbiosis Law


School, NOIDA (BBA. LLB) has successfully completed 28 days (5 th
February to 5th March) of internship program at the chambers of
Advocate Ajit Sengupta near to the Durgapur Court Complex,
Durgapur, West Bengal.

During the internship Ms. Snigdha has sincerely worked with


Advocate Ajit Sengupta and his associates. She has learnt various
aspects related to Civil Law, including Affidavit, Registration and
Matrimonial Cases. She has read books about the same and noted
down few important things that might be helpful in the future.

She demonstrated self-motivated attitude to learn new things,


contributed to new ideas and study of different legislations has
helped her grow as a person associated with the field of law.

I wish her success and all the best for her endeavours.

1. Affidavit: what is affidavit, what happens when the information
given is violated, what is the use of affidavit, for what purposes
it is signed, what did you find out why affidavit was being
signed.
2. Few sections and their applications related to Hindu Marriage
Act : Section 9, 13 (1), 13 (1)(b)
3. Visited Court and saw a case related to
a. Dacoity: Read from IPC
b. Bail Order: What is Bail, what is the criterion that makes a
person eligible to be granted bail? In what circumstances
a bail can be given? Who can give the bail?
4. Met a client who came to seek divorce: IPC section, grounds,
relation with restitution of conjugal rights
5. Learn about divorce: Consummation of marriage
6. How a marriage is concluded
7. What is Registry, visited the registry office, what is the purpose
8. Learnt Court Manners: all the court manners
9. Notary: what is a notary, who files notary, how can a person be
eligible to file notary

NOTES:
1. AFFIDAVIT: Affidavit contains a set of statements and is a
document which is sworn to be true by the person stating the
facts. If the given statements are not factual and are false, the
person is sent into custody. It is administered by the person
authorized to do the same.
