Course description

International organizations are responsible for the maintenance of international peace


and stability. This course provides a critical analysis of the key features and legal
issues associated with international (intergovernmental) organizations under
international and domestic laws such as international legal personality, immunities or
management of peace and security by the international organization. This course
covers the major International organizations their member ship , structure and
functions.
Objectives
• Unable the students to understand the role of International organizations in
contemporary international relations.
• To give the knowledge of structure and functions of major International
organizations to the students.
